Your dogs are so lucky to have you. You give great advice.... or should I say, I love how you handle the dogs. If other people decide that they would like to try to do it the way you do it, good for them😉
Wow @gsd8149 I am humbled by your kind remark. It is comments like this that make me want to keep making videos. I am certainly not getting rich doing this, LOL but if I can help one dog stay in its home, or help one person with the relationship they have with their dog, or get one comment like this one, it is worth doing.
Great information. Luckily I didn't have issues with food but did with bones, toys and me. Got more help from your videos then I did a trainer. Thanks for doing these videos.
Great question. All dogs resource guard naturally in nature with other dogs. It is the way it is. Dogs that are "spoiled" or think they are the leaders over humans exercise it more readily with humans in my opinion. So a mentally strong dog, like a herding or working dog, might be more likely to "try" it than a dog bred for a different purpose. But I nearly got torn up by the cutest little beagle you ever saw once over a chew stick, so it is hard to say.
Another gorgeous dog from the Kaleidoscope family! Thanks for showing him. You make good points, as usual.😊
Thank you! I love a split face like him. My first Aussie I had for 17 years was a split face.
resource guarding is like when someone tries to eat from your plate and you give them the death stare. ¨he reached for my food but drew back a nub¨
Nobody would ever touch my plate, LOL!

You gave me a nice chuckle. Lots of "hack" trainers out there, you gotta go with what works!
My otherwise gentle Aussie does this. Thanks for this video. The info is invaluable.
Hi @pauldack5129 Thank you so much for the comment and the feedback. Means a lot to me.
Oh, this was excellent thank you very much
Glad you like it and thanks for watching!
Forgot to ask, I’m not saying in your line, but do you think there could be a genetic disposal of certain lines for resource guarding?
