That looked very capable for a 1800kg car! It will beat anything in it's class. Also great lines from the driver for his first lap with it!
It’s actually 1,900 kg, and with only a (75 kg) driver. Yes, very capable.

M5C/CS are absolute brilliant cars.
For track usage, just make sure to 1. always stay in 4WD mode, 2. do NOT tune the engine (like I did 🤣), stock is perfectly drivable, 3. use auto shift to benefit from the full rev band (or perfectly hone your manual shifting), 4. upgrade brake fluid and pads… and off you go 🚀
What fluid and pads do you installed?
I used ATE dot 5.1 and it feels amazing now, I drive GTI.
@@jamdc2000 I’m using racing brake fluid from Endless, and special racing brake pads (used in Nürburgring 24h endurance racing), on stock steel discs

I like to keep mine in 4WD Sport, DSC in MDM mode. Suspension Sport+, Engine Sport+, Gearbox S3, and the steering in Sport or Sport+, depending on the track. It's wearing more the brakes on MDM compared to DSC off, but I feel it better this way. Are the racing brake pads noisy compared to the stock ones on normal town driving?
Hi, I am in the process of purchasing a CS, why did you not reccomand to tune it? Gpower kit is the first thing to do, or not? 😃 Which steel discs and brake? Brembo kit or alcon?

REVISED Manual for all BMW M CS: During the first 1,000 km, refrain at all times, insofar as possible, from letting engine speed FALL BELOW 4,500 rpm. 😂😂😂

It's amazing how well developed these luxury sport sedans are now. What a daily driver. I would love to see how the current AMG E63s does on the ring in similarly capable hands. Although I don't think AMG will do it, it would be cool if AMG would make a similarly track developed E63s for direct competition to the M5 CS.

Well, I’m sure this was a lot more fun than the way we were breaking in our and M5CS. We had to do it on Florida and South Georgia country roads. Great car indeed!

Trochę słabo ze zmianą biegów. Zamiast trzymać go na obrotach to szybko zmienia bieg i słychać że go dusi.

Looks like a great suspension / chassis. In Car and Driver's "car of the year it beat a M3 Competition in the laptimes around a tight track too.. that says something for a car that size. What does the warning on the dash mean? Also about the break in, are the engines broken in from bmw or do they need a variable load?
This is exactly what the car needed.
Warning says that tire pressure is too low
I would of stayed AWD, just to be safe, i doubt it would of done much difference.

Technical immaturity. 830km very heavy load. Materials not stacked. Higher temperatures on parts.
Anyone who buys these won’t lose a penny on it. If you can afford it you’ll be much better off buying this instead of a competition

@@Taylor40667 they are trading for 30k over list as it stands. Even if it loses 20k over a couple of years-which I doubt it will. They comp would lose much more than that.
I got this n upgraded all the non carbon panel to fully carbon panels on the car.... tune it to stage one .... now it has 790hp 1000nm with only 1690kgs .....
Btw he shud let misha drive....

With only 800km on the engine aren't you supposed to not floor it or anything till 1k miles? I just got my 2023 m340i and have been babying it because I thought that was the case but heres a real M doing the opposite.
I would keep breaking yours in tbh better off having peace of mind and bmw can’t complain in the event something does go wrong
I do not think a restriction would apply to if you are able to adjust the service and change fluids appropriately. The engine races and piston rings would break in within minutes, not hours of running the engine. Powertrain fluids (crankcase oil, gearbox/transmission oil, differential oil) would need to be changed within this early break in period. I'm wondering if aggressive driving would require changing fluids multiple times during the break in.

@@tenkkutn Yeah I will 100% be doing a break in oil change at 1k but I've have so many other people tell me not to put the pedal all the way down so ima play it safe.
New cars can really handle the "abuse".

Not the smoothest driver, but then he did say it was only his first drive. If you wanted the 1 car garage I still think the standard M5 is the better choice.
Bmw says you should take it easy for first 1200 miles lol :D
This Car is very good and seems to be easy to drive and pehaps make you feel that you are a super pilote on the Nurb.....Better to not say anything else 😂

yeah you guys should properly break in the engine before doing something like that...the repair cost on one of those ain't gonna be cheap
According to the instructions on my M550i from 2022, it takes 2000 km to break in the engine. Until then you should not rev the engine above 4500 RPM, and not drive faster than 160 kmph. These guys most likely ruined the engine in this video.
Further, it takes 600km to break in those tires together with brakes, so this ride could have been quite dangerous.
How you trust other drivers is beyond me

Not sure the Ring is a place to break in an M5 CS or any car for that matter.

@@siddharthsharma8940 Not sure BMW would agree as they have a sticker on the windshield saying to limit acceleration and speed until broken in. Additionally, M cars have a break-in fluids change including the differential at 1500 miles.

Only around 5 percent of people break in their cars nowadays, and we don't see any issues on any cars.
