    5 things #2 can do:
    1. Block
    2. In breaking route
    3. out breaking route
    4. Vertical

@@LearnFootballWithvIQtory I found it much easier to let the high safety determine when the #2 is vertical rather than come up with a landmark like 5-7 yards. The only time my corner took #2 is when the high safety gave him a switch call

Only time I’m playing my corner less than 5 yards deep is when he is bailing

Overhang needs to drop at an angle where he can reroute #2 at 8-10 yards if he’s vertical. You reroute at 5 yards man that #2 can still stack the high safety and get a 2 way go

You go 2x2 and run a sail concept front side with a drag coming from the back side creating a 4 strong concept man thats tough. Your #3 dropper in Palms has to try and get under that deep out on the front side. You can’t ask your high safety to take the deep out away playing it from top down

hey coach, out of a base 4-3 2 read coverage, who do you use as the force defender? Do you use corners, backers, or safeties. or does it change based on offensive formation?

Backers to corners typically. Backers are out leveraged, so corners need to set the edge if it does roll to the outside. Tough ask for the safety because of their depth. If you play them at 8-10 yards they can be involved in the fit but then you risk them not getting over to #1 in a fade-out concept.
