I don't know why they can't put Dinardo Cover 4 in the game. In that, the Corners are in press man coverage against the #1 receivers. The safeties are pattern reading the #2s or reading the end man on the LOS. Against the run they're coming downhill and playing the alleys. Against the pass, if the #2 goes vertical, it's man coverage. If he goes underneath, the safety will help with the #1. The linebackers are responsible for the middle hole and the flats. In Madden, Cover 4 is just the DBs "spot dropping" into deep quarters like a prevent defense.
So far defensive back abilities like route KO and zone KO, which rules apply in these kind of scenarios? I mean from the play arts perspective the DB's are in his own but they're playing like man coverage
@@Mrcold1 We did a video earlier in the year explaining the difference in match/default but never a video from the offensive perspective how to diagnose it. Without knowing the match rules, the easiest way would be focusing on the safeties and seeing how they react imo. If they "wait" at the 10 yard mark for a vertical route, it's most likely match. If they immediately back up to start the play, it's most likely zone drop.
With bubble screens you want to make sure your players defending the bubble aren't in the run fits and they aren't the "read" icon if it's an RPO read bubble. Those two things can affect how your player will attack the bubble. Man coverage from a safety does a good job a lot of the times coming down and disrupting.
Cover 4 Drop is a zone drop style defense and won't play match. Palms has different rules where players will convert to man coverage based on different route combinations.
What Changes With 4 Quarters? it seems to be Palms is most suitable in Trips And quarters in 2x2 situations but the madden coverage Looks like the Same play
That's a loaded question as there are different "checks" for both quarters and palms when it comes to Trips offenses that change more than just one player's responsibility. As a general rule, Palms is the better option vs Trips as the backside safety can sometimes be put into conflict!

Zone KO's work for Match Coverage.

There are times I play match coverage out of Drop cover 4, and at times on the strong safety side coverage gets blown deep. Will Palms help that?
