I watched the Ghostbuster 1 and 2 again yesterday. Man I wish I had My childhood in 80s ... seems to be best years to grow up with. Everything with 80s untill 1995 is the best Times ever.
It was simpler and more fun, get up, go outside, return around dinner time. Never question whether you are a male or female, enjoy who you are with no information over load and fake news in your face all the time

Is it fine to say that I maybe like this song better than the Ray Parker Jr theme? It feels slightly catchier, and though I and every other GB fan knows the lyrics to the theme, when I think of the Ghostbusters soundtrack, I think of this song first and foremost. It just has some feeling of grandeur and defines what the Ghostbusters do. And that's savin the day. Yes? AND THE FLOWERS ARE STILL STANDING.

Ghost Busters on 360 tied together the first movie SO nicely. Its the perfect compliment to it, and it answered so many questions. It was just frigging great. I beat it in one sitting, but that's mainly because i just could NOT STOP PLAYING. It was that good.
So glad they did the Ghostbusters video game with all the original voices. Its basically Ghostbusters 3, and Dan Akroyd has said it essentially is too.

Granted, a lot of them are just cheap ways to cash in the fame of a beloved franchise or movie but when a reboot or remake is good, it's not just good, it's fucking amazing. Think about it, TDK trilogy, Dawn of the Dead (2004) , the Departed (2006), the Ring, the Fly (1986), Scarface (1983) and Fistful of Dollars are all remakes or reboots and they do not only stand up to their predecesors, in some cases (like the Fly and Scarface) they are even better. So no, not all reboots are unnecesary, studios should just be more selective with the ones they make.

In my opinion, this is the best song off the album. Unfortunately, its often overshadowed by the title track megahit. One couldn't escape that song in '84. I saw this movie in the theater when I was only 6, and thought parts were kind of scary lol.
