I'm fascinated and at the same time saddened to see a house in this condition. If only those walls could speak. I've often wondered why people just walk away from these homes, leaving so many of their belongings behind. Perhaps they hoped to return one day. That dark room in the basement may have been a cistern at one time, collecting rain water from the roof. The 100+ year-old house I grew up in had one in the basement.
I may go back with a light. But you're probably right. Odd, but that crack in the wall seemed to be the only entrance. But I didn't stay down there long enough.
Watching this while wearing ear buds at work during my lunch hour ... When that pigeon flew down from the attic I nearly fell over 🤣 Another great video sir!
I love that they used ocean colors inside in the middle of nowhere 😊

You were a lot nicer with the name calling than I would have been. POS would have been the last thing out of my mouth. It would have been way worse. Love your videos!!
My first impression is there is ALOT of stuff in the house. The bird scared me for sure, was a pretty big house and a lot of smaller bldgs nearby also.
lol that's a great question. Kind of hard to explain my passion but it started as a kid. Exploring abandoned houses with my pals growing up in the early 1980's. Lost it as I grew older, but then picked it back up in 2007 purely by accident. Picked up a camera and found that abandoned buildings made for interesting photo subjects. Then I became more interested in the history, families and their stories. Walking through the rooms of these places are at times, haunting and sad, reflecting on the memories that were made in these now neglected places. I'm fortunate to have met some of the old timers who either built these homes or grew up here. Thanks for your comment and for watching as I'm sure there are many people wondering the same thing. :)
Wow, it's pretty cool you can see where at some point in this houses life, they put asphalt shingles over top of the original cedar shake shingles! 😮
Yes I think it was probably lived in up until the 80's at some point.
That bird made me jump, 😂. Cool old house, I'm surprised at how well it's stood up against the weather out there. Thanks for sharing.
Even in decay she’s still beautiful! Awesome video as always! 👍❤️🤘
Love the escape here. Great channel. Homes were relly something back in the day unlike these bring modern homes today.🍁🍁✨✨

HAHAHA I should put a Time Code on this to warn people. I knew there was one up there but not 100% sure until it happened!

素敵なお家を見せてくれてありがとう😊
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour! 😊
Nice Video of a once grand house. That Pigeon in the attic must have been a shocker!
LOL yes, I've trained myself not to move now when filming....or swearing haha.
That color of paint was popular. I've found that same color under the years of paint in my 124 year old farmhouse.
I heard that the paint could’ve been supplied. By the government which was why it was all lead based and those institutional colours.

Probably abandoned in the 80’s.
I love these videos. But can I offer a spelling tip? Coal is poured down a 'chute'.
Damn!!! lol thanks!
Its interesting to see these places not too far from where I live in central Alberta
Just when I think I’ve seen them all. Ya this was close by me.
Would love to see the barn.
Testament to the roof that lasted 70 years after abandonment
Terrible vandalism, shame 😢
I think it was used to I store a lot of junk!
Why are you creeping around that house...

I'm glad you do have this odd hobby, I for one have never seen such a beautiful house and belongings, so thanks for sharing.
For some reason the lawn mower in the basement cracks me up. A person would wear themselves out trying to mow all that!
