I can't tell you how many videos I've watched about Scottish Oatcakes--and you were the first person to show what exactly "oatmeal" is (in Scotland). Because in the US, it means something completely different! Very much appreciated!

Thanks so much Titli. Always enjoy your recipes and the extremely pleasant and gentle way in which you present them.

Titli, this recipe is perfect! I've gone gluten free and don't eat many grains, except porridge oats once in a while. Thrilled to have something simple to cook up once in a while for a break from crudités.

Yes, the recipe is certainly attractive, since you can quickly make the bread for a meal right before it, without much preparation, like with normal bread.

Thanks for this quick n easy recipe. Can we use quaker oats for this? And can you tell if we can make any other kind of bread other then flat bread/chapatti with the chapati flour (atta).

My mother used to make something very similar to this, but we'd always add grated carrot into the mix. A little weird maybe, however delicious. I know this might come off as a request, but have you ever tasted "lomper" or "lefser" from Norway? If you have not I would certainly recommend them for you, as I think you might enjoy both recipes.

Wow, that was easy. May try it this weekend!
Are there any stuffed (meat/veg) bread recipes that you have done? The kind that you can make the night before and bring it to lunch the day after?

The children are up early today. Titli, what's the specialty food in your hood? Ours is Peameal Bacon sandwiches. And Maple Syrup. And Beer. And Poutine. That's a fine four fried farl deal.

I do not understand why you add Bicarbonate of Soda there is no acid to activate it. It serves no purpose. Otherwise as my Mother made but she would use fat not butter.
