I’m using SnS to focus on farming for materials. It’s fun to level up different gear load outs for elements. Just maxed out decos for ice element, alongside fire and water. The bummer for lightning is that getting the necessary rare drop from zinogre is behind huntathons, so it’ll take a while to boost the zinogre arm piece to rank 6 to hit max element. Then it’s off to crafting different weapons. DB and Lance are really fun. I’m really hoping they add CB and GL at some point, but I’m thinking that they’re going to plan that alongside introducing some sort of slot decoration and maybe talisman system.

Those IRL videos with monster hunter are something few and far between but something so unique for active players. Zak, taking Girros vomit for the content. I never continue the hunt if I get paralyzed, slept, etc.. I escape and heal. You were at 21hp. That's approx 5 min of healing.
@CTomCooper well, 5 min of healing for approx 10s of content. (Dying and talking about dying). Besides, I'm praising him for taking the hit for the content. I post videos of my failures as well.
Burst 5 and diablos DB works like a charm against 8*s. Not sure about 9. Haven't gotten that far yet. I was able to farm Kulu, Girros, Pukei, and Jagras with 7 5/5 to get some wyvern gems. My DB is currently at 8 4/5, but they do the job well. Working on building out elemental sets at the moment before i move on to 9*s. My current build is: Zinogre helm and pants, Rathian gloves and belt, and Anja armor (farming Girros to test out if sneak attack will work).
Yeah 8 monsters is hard. I got there like a month ago. I recommend using like at least lvl 7.5 element weapon with lvl 5 element skill bonus. Or use a blk Diablo bow with focus and burst damage. I at stuck at 8 stars until I get more wyern gem shard upgrade my weapon past lvl 7.5.
I guess i got 3 wgs yet, out of ten to fifteen 8*😅 seems like i was damn lucky😂 I doubled up all of them, so i got two weapons at 8 2/5 now😁 (two wgs came from special quests😋)
I’d say every 3 days is fine. Don’t burn yourself out daily. Grab a couple days worth of content and make one video spanning said days. My friend just started playing and is thinking of doing content like that.
@@HuntersNotez I forgot to mention, I usually play alone so the only three 8 stars monsters I can kill are Great Jagras, Great Girros and Pukei Pukei. The battle has to be perfect and always ends at the time cap 😅. Now I have the Pukei (poison) SS grade 8 level 2, and need four WGS more to level it up to 3 😩

If you haven’t already , use your barioth parts on the chest and gloves. Both are needed for the 5 ice attack melee build

Been hunting 8stars for nearly a month since ive reached 8stars and ive only gotten 2 WGS from the wild from Banbaros of all monsters.
Man why? I hace been farming one daily at least. Some great days i even got 4 or 5
I would like content every 3 or 4 days max, but consistently. There is no influencer or TH-camr I follow from which I hope they upload daily.
You could get the gems from completing event quests
As well as zinogre plate

I unlocked 8 stars monster 3 months ago, yesterday I got my first WGS as loot in the game from a Pukei Pukei. Drop rate is extremly low :C
