Becky needs to take a walk on streets of LA, San Fran, NY
talk about privileged. she lives in rich area in nj. gets paid millions to read off a teleprompter.
Nothing wrong with those street, maybe this witch will find a real man. not the cheating one she has.
Guy says consumer is spending down savings and shifting to necessities, but consumer is also still strong? What?
Exactly… doesn’t make any sense
Credit Cards
huge stores with barely any employees and self check-out: hmmm: why is theft up???
It’s usually cold in those stores. Shrinkage is causing their bottom line to not be all that it could be and more!
It’s shrinkage!
-George Castanza 😂
if you go to a grocery store you pretty much hear the alarm go off over and over the worst that ever happens for thieves is a tiny bit of embarrassment as people look at them. of course shrink is a real issue
"of course shrink is a real issue" of course you just can't walk away from the real problem, no one want to buy their expensive crap.
TF Sorkin smokin?! Corporations are going to dictate the laws now. If a store doesn’t like the local laws somewhere, close up shop and move on.
He’s a leftist
Have any of you even looked at the cost of a new car or been to the grocery store? Cereal is $5.00 per box! 3:57
…Or looked at the rental markets outside of NYC? Small towns are seeing rents over $1,000 per month for a ROOM in a shared house. Get real guys.
Joe clearly never worked retail. I’ve worked for Publix 14 years ago and the acronym “SHRINK” was always used. And most of the time it was because of spoiled product, damages, and yes of course thief but this isn’t new. Companies are using this as an excuse for poor sales plain and simple.
Well you should be the CEO if your that smart?
Its the classic blame everyone but themselves. The CEO sounds like he's not cut out for the job
Why dont stores actively stop thieves in the act and not just watch them walk out with merchandise and hope police can catch them ? This is a multi fold problem, and retailers not trying to stop the criminals is part of the problem.
let me ask if you, as a minimum wage employee would be wiling to risk you or your kid's life over some material items? I didn't think so. So when you say "stores" you mean, "minimum wage employee"
How? The state has a monopoly on violence and they have been clear that any law abiding citizen who disrupts that will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
So, good luck with that.
consequences of defunding the police
Becky's cute little weather reference. Yes corporate blaming the weather making up a massive increase in organized and gang led retail theft. Tut tut you naughty corporations making excuses for your own poor marketing and retail efforts. She is living a life or privilege if she doesn't see all the rash of brazen crimes.
The guy is full of BS. Listen to this guy’s attempt to skirt reality
Retail no longer matters. AI has taken over. Long live the new emperor, NVIDIA.
This is a first to hear the news media actually telling the truth on stealing being a crime!
Nonsense
零元购🎉
Direct result of liberal policies
Of course shrinkage is a bigger problem. People are tapped, and angry at corporate greed, so are returning the favor.
That's Biden's fault for causing the inflation
This is a Democrat created problem. Go into a store now, and you have to hunt for someone to unlock a case, such a turn off. I just order online or do not buy. Locking up all your products is gonna decrease sales.
No sales and elevated prices turns to shrinkage blaming
With he death of the middle-class, the death of retail was inevitable.
Thanks Reagan, and Republicans across the board.
Learn some history.
