While it’s a stretch, it’s possible the toolbox teaser could be a new jokaero model seeing as the resin kit was just removed and jokaero’s habit of being tinkerers. While I doubt it, it would be nice to get a new jokaero as they are a very interesting concept in the lore often that goes under explored, and could give imperial agents a fun support option.
I want a jokaero with something like T3, 1a, S2, and “can take one action each turn, increasing attacks and strength by 1 or increasing toughness by 2 of any mechanical unit”

The Valkyrie Sky Talon also was removed from the store. But I guess it wasn’t popular enough to warrant noticing. But I like it a lot, fortunately I’ve got 7 of them to tide me over.
The Valkyrie Sky Talon only made sense when used with the Elysian Drop Troopers. Since the GW is not selling them anymore, their transport is useless too.
@@dzstoyanov The Sentinels of the regiments other than Drop Troops are deployed via walking into the battles, therefore there is no need to drop them from the the Valkyrie Sky Talons.
@@toomaskotkas4467 I always liked the idea of having mechanized guard dropped in via Valkyries. The Sky Talon reminds me of the LAAT Gunships from the clone wars. It sucks that the guard never got a vehicle transport aircraft like a stormhawk or Storm Raven.
At time of writing Eisenhorn is still up for sale, so either the Daemonhost will be available in some form or his rules will change fairly radically, if you see what I did there.

Really like the idea of Mephiston as this bad arse lone op, just going around soloing squads on objectives, it's much more lore appropriate. With his current stat line he'll do a lot of damage between a plasma pistol, his witchfire, and in son's 7A, S11, Ap3, D3 damage, killing a squad of 5 marines in combat is pretty average rolling, plsu the shooting he could be taking 7-8 out of a squad of 10. I'd probably take him at 120 points to be honest specially if has a cool new rule to replace his leader one. I mean 6 wounds at T5, 2+ save, with a 4+ fnp and lone op and fights first is a lot of survivability for a single model, that is basically 3 of the best common rules in the game in one package.
I just hope you are wrong on the Vulture, it would fit the Inquisition Navy detachment perfectly, as they need some punch, especially not being related to other factions like the ordos. And thematically it would be perfect.
Definitely they are going to scrap those. They are probably too lazy to go around and make rules for less used models, even though most rules in this edition is giving Sustained Hits and mortal wounds on sixes to everything.

Shame about the Vulture, it's a really cool model and concept, especially for an army that doesn't have a lot of fast-moving units. I had very vague hopes that it would make a return as a heavy fire support option for a Scion detachment since they could really do with more anti-armour/monster capability, and just the image of them escorting Valkyries, laying down gatling cannon fire and barrages of rockets, was very neat :(

I got to play some Speed Freekz, and it is very fun. There were some problems where people who were trying to play together would be put on the opposing team, but other than that it was a lot of fun.
Mephiston's fights first plus his debuff is quite strong, especially if you get the 6 off. I had him and 5 AIs charged by Abaddon and 10 chosen, they killed about 4 chosen I think (and that was me rolling a bit below average), I rolled 6 on the debuff so they all lost 1A and were -1 to hit, so in the end I lost all 5 AIs, and 1 wound on Mephiston, so basically 75 points of AIs died to a like 550 point unit. I then fell him back next turn and charged him in again, with death company and they killed the rest of the unit. If he keeps the same ability he is going to be a real pain to deal with because realistically he could kill like 5 marine level bodies that charge into him, if he spikes the damage rolls he could kill like multiple elite 3W models, plus then completely debuff the unit that charged him, that then have to kill a T5, 2+,5++, 4++ 6W model. That is with no long range shooting going to be able to whittle him down, plus if you bring a tank close to him and he survives it, he is quite capable, especially in sons of sanguinius of soloing like a T10 3+ save tank, with 7 S11 attacks coming in.
Daemonhost’s have been gone since errata allowing Imperial Agents to field as a stand alone force. I went to grab one to round out a squad and haven’t been able to find them for a long while.
Honestly, i have a dreadful feeling for what imperial guard will lose when the time comes. The Gorgon and Crassius armored assault transport probably won't make the cut.
So happy about LoneOp Mephiston! He should function more like an assassin with a FNP, slinging psyker powers and slicing people up. Hopefully the sword isn't D3 anymore, cause that means its D1.
Daemonhost hasn't been on the U.S. webstore in ages. But what's off about the Jokaero and Karazamov is they were still in stock the last time I checked. Aren't we used to seeing a "Last Chance to Buy" before removing them? Either way, I'm glad I bought a second Jokaero and Karazamov a few months ago.
Can you please make a video on Shadow Spectres? I think Eldar Aspect Warriors and a whole Phoenix King at risk of removal is a huge danger. They are incremental to the Aeldari's identity.
SO glad I own a Vulture still. Hate that they're doing this, especially because the Vulture is one of the VERY FEW 40k models that really got me into the game.
Mephiston can't squad though, so the Fights First will only apply to him. But still allows him to be devastating against lone units and small squads. Would be wary putting him against larger chunkier units like Terminators, though he could put a dent into them.
Actually, I noticed you never posted in your channel about all the other FW models that were removed. The Malcador Infernus, Imperial Bombard, Earthshaker and Medusa Artillery, Thudd and Heavy Mortars.
I would love Mephestion to return to his 5th edition loner glory. All he needs now is wings of sanguinius and his sword to have two profiles. A strike at 3damage and a sweep at 1 or 2 damage.
The biggest change id like to see them add for mephiston is changing his damage profile from D3, please just give him a flat 2 damage sword. feels insane to have a physic vampire with a powersword do the same damage as a chainsword
Lone op on Mephiston is a step in the right direction, but I'd kinda rather they let him lead bladeguard instead. Losing the vulture sucks, Ive wanted to grab a couple of them for a while but never got around to it. Just another excuse to buy a new printer I guess...
Well.... If I played BA I'd merge old and new stuff and don't bother to be frank. Not to hate or anything but I don't think I'd simply put away good old Death Company or DC Dreadnoughts / Furioso / Lib Dreads. They are way too iconic. Progress is one thing but heritage is another.

It’s very unlikely that the assassins disappear for good. So they either get replaced with new miniatures or they become some box exclusives to sell more stuff for a while.
Most likely are getting reboxed in boxes with imperial agents branding or are being combined with other units. They will still be usable in game and able to be purchased. Just right now they aren't going to be sold directly by GW for the time being.
Rules change all the time so meta is not stable, if you play once or twice a month, you won't have much time to even test out stuff before it's changed, models come and go and are replaced by new stuff, which are hit or miss, a lot of new models simply suck, not so much as sculpts but as boring uninteresting poses and lack of any detail that was present back in a day (ornaments, all this sacral stuff for the imperium), even though old models were made in frikking metal and manually. Modern models are usualy bland and soulless, you can appreciate craft of technical side of doing the models, but not the lack of idea behind it.
They got rid of one of the most iconic guard models....wow I know a lot of people gonna be mad about that. Even in a casual setting legends is terrible. Reason: since they're not going to be actively buffed or even nerfed, if it's broken it's not feasible to use it without house ruling (see kannonwagon) or it's REALLY good and makes you feel bad for using it in a casual setting.
Im a pure salamander but Mephiston just straight up makes me want to start a blood angel/flesh tearer army. It makes sense that BA gets powerful statlines for mephiston and hopefully dante and new sanguinor follow suit because Sanguinius should stay dead.
Really glad the Blood Angels release is a small one. I started a Firstborn army recently, and have spent months looking for old Dante and Mephiston (and with no success so far), and now will have to quickly find and snatch old Astorath and Lemarters, but at least Death Company and Assault Terminators are still up.
Karamazov, the Daemonhost, and the Jokaero are gone? They're really, really trying to out-do the sabotage the Custodes suffered with this Imperial Agents codex... Can't wait for the Speed Freeks game to drop.
They should give the normal Valkyrie the ability to take a vulture configuration instead. Doesn't really make sense to not be able to field CAS from a lore perspective of a lot of guard units. Granted my Drop army died with FW so I wouldn't be surprised if we lost Valkyries entirely.
The main reason people don't take Mephiston is that he can't join units that would be good for the hammer like say jump troops such as death company or sang guard. Yeah he isn't bad, but he isn't necessarily good either given that his sword is so swingy, potentially not even able to kill a marine per swing. That makes him not as attractive as anything that outright supplies kill potential like the sang priest or a captain. If he could behave like a lieutenant and join units in addition too, then maybe. I guess the other point is that yes, he is a melee killy character; but the Blood Angels is literally filled to the brim with those sort of characters, and others that can do it better by providing better support. He's sort of a square peg that doesn't really have any square holes to be put into. The ability to confer strikes first *is* good, in fact it's amazing, but what you'd really want to do is put that on a unit of Death company or sang guard (which he can't join). In fact, now that vanguard's only have their jump variety you can only give them to assault intercessor's to properly make use of that support, but honestly I'd rather put that squad with a sang priest to make use of -2 chainswords, because ultimately I'm not too fussed if the opponent strikes them first.
Because they are hell bent on sucking fun out of the game, and making things as bland and boring as possible. The best example of this are leader restrictions to what you can even put the unit into, to let people have fun and discover interesting combos.
As a OG Blood Angels player having Mephiston in squads feels wrong, he needs to be on his own, charging Hive tyrants, Ctan, Deff Dreads, Wraithlords good old 5th ed Mephiston,
There's no assurance that Mephiston won't be able to lead squads - there are other Lone Operative characters in the game that grant Lone Op to the squads they lead. I'm looking at Kayvaan Shrike there. So, while unlikely; he could still be able to lead squads.
Report them to head office, the mini of the month is meant to be free without any need for other purchases, but unfortunately some managers try to use them as a tactic to boost their sales.

Mephiston can't squad though, so the Fights First will only apply to him. But still allows him to be devastating against lone units and small squads. Would be wary putting him against larger chunkier units like Terminators, though he could put a dent into them.

I would love Mephestion to return to his 5th edition loner glory. All he needs now is wings of sanguinius and his sword to have two profiles. A strike at 3damage and a sweep at 1 or 2 damage.

The biggest change id like to see them add for mephiston is changing his damage profile from D3, please just give him a flat 2 damage sword. feels insane to have a physic vampire with a powersword do the same damage as a chainsword

Lone op on Mephiston is a step in the right direction, but I'd kinda rather they let him lead bladeguard instead.

Well.... If I played BA I'd merge old and new stuff and don't bother to be frank. Not to hate or anything but I don't think I'd simply put away good old Death Company or DC Dreadnoughts / Furioso / Lib Dreads. They are way too iconic. Progress is one thing but heritage is another.

It’s very unlikely that the assassins disappear for good. So they either get replaced with new miniatures or they become some box exclusives to sell more stuff for a while.
Most likely are getting reboxed in boxes with imperial agents branding or are being combined with other units. They will still be usable in game and able to be purchased. Just right now they aren't going to be sold directly by GW for the time being.

I hesitate to buy anymore GW models. Not only because of the ludicrous price, but also because you never know if the model will be playable long term.
Rules change all the time so meta is not stable, if you play once or twice a month, you won't have much time to even test out stuff before it's changed, models come and go and are replaced by new stuff, which are hit or miss, a lot of new models simply suck, not so much as sculpts but as boring uninteresting poses and lack of any detail that was present back in a day (ornaments, all this sacral stuff for the imperium), even though old models were made in frikking metal and manually. Modern models are usualy bland and soulless, you can appreciate craft of technical side of doing the models, but not the lack of idea behind it.
Free scout, fuck yeah that'll be fun to build and paint since I'll probably never buy the KT or a squad normally.
They got rid of one of the most iconic guard models....wow I know a lot of people gonna be mad about that.
Even in a casual setting legends is terrible. Reason: since they're not going to be actively buffed or even nerfed, if it's broken it's not feasible to use it without house ruling (see kannonwagon) or it's REALLY good and makes you feel bad for using it in a casual setting.

Im a pure salamander but Mephiston just straight up makes me want to start a blood angel/flesh tearer army. It makes sense that BA gets powerful statlines for mephiston and hopefully dante and new sanguinor follow suit because Sanguinius should stay dead.
But the last time is was only a kroot model sculpt, im not sure if this time is gonna be a scout from the actual box
Really glad the Blood Angels release is a small one. I started a Firstborn army recently, and have spent months looking for old Dante and Mephiston (and with no success so far), and now will have to quickly find and snatch old Astorath and Lemarters, but at least Death Company and Assault Terminators are still up.
Please can Death Company finally get the FNP 5+++ that they deserve…!

They should give the normal Valkyrie the ability to take a vulture configuration instead. Doesn't really make sense to not be able to field CAS from a lore perspective of a lot of guard units.
Granted my Drop army died with FW so I wouldn't be surprised if we lost Valkyries entirely.

The main reason people don't take Mephiston is that he can't join units that would be good for the hammer like say jump troops such as death company or sang guard. Yeah he isn't bad, but he isn't necessarily good either given that his sword is so swingy, potentially not even able to kill a marine per swing. That makes him not as attractive as anything that outright supplies kill potential like the sang priest or a captain. If he could behave like a lieutenant and join units in addition too, then maybe. I guess the other point is that yes, he is a melee killy character; but the Blood Angels is literally filled to the brim with those sort of characters, and others that can do it better by providing better support. He's sort of a square peg that doesn't really have any square holes to be put into.
The ability to confer strikes first *is* good, in fact it's amazing, but what you'd really want to do is put that on a unit of Death company or sang guard (which he can't join). In fact, now that vanguard's only have their jump variety you can only give them to assault intercessor's to properly make use of that support, but honestly I'd rather put that squad with a sang priest to make use of -2 chainswords, because ultimately I'm not too fussed if the opponent strikes them first.
Because they are hell bent on sucking fun out of the game, and making things as bland and boring as possible. The best example of this are leader restrictions to what you can even put the unit into, to let people have fun and discover interesting combos.
As a OG Blood Angels player having Mephiston in squads feels wrong, he needs to be on his own, charging Hive tyrants, Ctan, Deff Dreads, Wraithlords good old 5th ed Mephiston,
There's no assurance that Mephiston won't be able to lead squads - there are other Lone Operative characters in the game that grant Lone Op to the squads they lead. I'm looking at Kayvaan Shrike there. So, while unlikely; he could still be able to lead squads.
