We're starting up a video series that is all about painting miniatures for beginners! In this introduction to the series, Kaan will go into detail about the topics we'll be covering in subsequent videos and will also talk about his own journey into this creative, satisfying and bloody (sometimes literally...) hobby.

I discovered warhammer not long ago, and the miniature painting really took my curiosity.
Ive allways looked up for my painting skills to grow, because of the mood that it puts me in, the relaxation and acomplishment u feel about a great piece of art.
I have digged hours of content, and just got my first age of sigmar miniatures.

I too found minis through Space Hulk (and Hero Quest) many, many moons ago and progressed onto GW. I'm gonna follow this channel closely, really like your minis and the presentation.Even at 44 it's not too late to get better.

i recently (2 years ago) picked up painting warhammer miniatures again after a 10 year hiatus. I think that Im a good painter until i see other miniatures and watch videos of artists blending paints and understanding highlights and preforming styles of painting i truly believed i could never emulate.
Its really encouraging to hear the way you want to convey your knowledge and relate to other painters who want to challenge and better them-selves. It really motivates me to want to branch out and learn to paint with new styles and capture the depth and intensity of the miniatures Im painting.
I really look forward to watching more of your videos, and look forward to watching your channel grow.

I found your channel by pure chance looking for opinions on paints and now I'm very much looking forward to this.
The quality of the videos so far is great and I hope you can reach more and more people going forward!
Personally, I'm specially interested on that bit you mentioned about using the different techniques to achieve a certain goal or result. Sometimes I feel like I can find all the resources I need to learn some technique but I then struggle to decide when should I apply one or another (e.g. wet blending vs feathering) and/or what the difference in the result will be. Maybe this is just something you just learn by trying and getting more experience but having some more discussions around that I think would be really insightful.
As I said, really looking forward to the next videos!
Hey, so glad that you are looking forward to more because we’ve got a lot more coming! What you said at the end is a very interesting topic which I am going to do an entire video on at some point. I am going to to get the basics down first and once i have that covered then I can discuss how it might all come together… or at least thats the plan.

Im extremely looking forward to this. I'm a middle earth fan so mainly painting gw lotr models. Currently struggling painting horses. Could be cool to do a video on animals or bestiary.
