ex Herichthys Nosferatu labridens 'Media Luna': In the wild and in the Aquarium

Today I was finally able to piece together a video thats been a long time coming on a species of Meso-American Cichlid that has been near and dear to me for a very long time.
The amazing ex Herichthys Nosferatu labridens 'Media Luna'. Theres no other fish in the world like it and its in peril! Habitat destruction, introduction of exotics, unintentional introduction of native but non endemic to the isolated springs where this incredible species calls home.
The Media Luna springs are isolated warm water springs in the middle of the Mexican desert. Human advancement, population grwoth and explotation of natural resources have taken this critically endangered specis to the brink of extinction.
Can it be saved? It may very well be up to us the dedicated aquarists worldwide to make that happen. It would truly be a sad day if this gorgeous species were to disappear forever.
