Kimiko’s regret over killing people doesn't make sense to me. Didn't she brutally execute some rando security guards in Season 3? If anything, Kimiko has always been the most sadistic compared to others in the group, and her pep talk on regret over killing feels really off.

Say what you want about the writers, but actors and characters have great chemistry and keep as engaged in the show.
I think the CG team and actors are fantastic. But yeah, the writers have been beating a dead horse for a few years now and it's gone from an amazing show to a chore to watch.

Kimiko is honest to God my favourite character in the show. Her development from Season 1 is just crazy good. And the fact that Karen can convey so many intense emotions and garner so much sympathy without saying a SINGLE WORD is phenomenal

If Kimiko died, I would’ve been so offended that I would’ve stopped watching the show
honestly it was hard to take the moment seriously because her dying there would not make sense narratively. Either she has plot armor for that scene or she dies and the show's writing is so bad its not worth watching. And since the writing has been competent up to this point, it kinda killed any tension for that scene and it ended up feeling like she wasnt in any danger.

It really feels like this whole season is just one big set up for the final season after this. There’s a whole lot of storylines going around but so little time has been spent on developing them for a proper payoff.

It's all trauma. Somehow her brain rewired everything so when she's in pain, she doesnt make a sound but laughs when something's funny.

Translucent may have known about Compound V the entire time. He's the only one in the seven that has a son. That son can also turn invisible. He's in Gen V.
So it's an inconsistency. Either he knew about V and shot his son up with some. Or he is actually the first natural born supe and not Ryan. But we never know.

This interaction works for the emotional stability in the change of Frenchy and Kimiko. And Kimiko, due to her traumas, did not make her forget to speak. But it affected him! And for Frenchy. It has not been easy due to so many deaths he left behind. This conversation gives a nice boost to their blossoming relationship.
Kimiko and Frenchie either end together or they don’t end up with anyone at all. Their connection is better than anyone else you can force into their story arcs.

@@KahinAhmed72 with Noir 2 has a similar power like Homelander and A-Train would be executed by Homelander personally, I wouldn't even imagine if Kimiko and Frenchie would be having a proper happy ending since the series started to follow the Comic little by little.
This conversation absolutely needed to happen. Frenchie’s been drowning in this pool of guilt all the way back since S1 and I don’t think he ever truly realised how much Kimiko understands him and cares enough to help him overcome that pain until she flat out told him that he’s exhausting and she knows his trauma a lot more than he thinks.
I hope Kimiko can one day overcome her own trauma and forgive herself enough to actually speak again.

It’s just that that training camp where she was stationed at and made to fight and kill the girls she was pitted against was located somewhere in the forested outreach of the Philippines. During that time she learned what people like that Filipino man communicated through context.

I love their conversations. In the midst of all the chaos that is the boys their convos are always gives me a moment to breathe lol. The eye of the storm.
i love this crazy season, it really dives down every single problem that somewhat involved with the past of each character in the show.
homelander got rid of his last humanity by going back to the lab that made him the monster; a-train's real desire to be a real hero; hughie facing his dad's death and his tragic backstory of being left with the absence of a mother; butcher's mental health just going worse, Moon Knight style; The guilt that Frenchie killed Colin's family in the past; Kimiko's face to face the Shining Light Liberation Army to take it down once and for all; ...etc
Overall, this season really captured alot of emotions that a person can have: anger, revengeful, sadness, guilt, craziness,...
And it really implies that not everyone is perfect, even for The Boys team
That just shows how dedicated and thoughtful, but also unhinged the show are. And that's what I love about this show.

She doesn’t feel bad killing people as a whole, she’s traumatized after being FORCED to kill who knows how many girls at that camp. People who could have been her friends, who were the same age as her and trapped in the same horrible situation, all while she was a child. There’s a difference between that, and killing someone you don’t know as part of an operation as a trained and experienced adult.

Nothing grosses me more than when a show made it clear that the female character wanted/saw a familial relationship (which is equally, if not more, interesting) but due to fan pressure and shipping, they change it to romantic. Just overdone, so hopefully not because they work just as great platonically.
