(sold separately) It would be cool to see the Nimbus Entour Ice and the Chauvet DJ Cumulus side by side. Have you used the Chauvet DJ Cumulus, can you tell us about it?
Yukuba Holmes the cumulus is nice because the effect lasts way longer, BUT!!! The effect is no Nimbus.. The cloud is not as thick.. I would say if you had 2 cumulus machines, now that would be killer! Especially since the effect would last way longer. Best fog juice would def be Master Cloud! I have both Nimbus and Cumulus.
I wouldn't use dry ice machines. The Chauvet cumulus and cloud 9 and Martin Jem glaciator dynamic. All use basic fog fluid instead. The Nimbus is a much older machine and low foggers have definitely improved since then.
Maybe I'm not that bright after using dry ice machines for the last 15 years but please explain how this is better then Nimbus or Pea Souper? Who needs DMX or digital screen? Your light is green and you are ready to go!
Nothing really to do with the DMX or the screen it’s just more a less the control. With the nimbus you have to scramble quickly to drop the ice and fire. It will also auto dispense when you put the ice in... with this you have a bit more control as you can set the dry ice and fire when you are ready. The design is just a better than the nimbus. However the both do the same thing. If you have a nimbus you probably don’t need the Entour as well.
@@mrpapi7 That's kind of up to you to decide. I don't have one yet but have been thinking about getting one and from what I've seen I would pay $400 more the Entour Ice over the Nimbus. But I'm sure there are people who don't think it's worth it.

When i pour the ice in since it’s large chunks they don’t spill through the basket and boom off it goes. But I guess if you don’t mind spending the extra 4 and don’t own a nimbus then go for it. I also heard this one comes a road case which is cool. I think the nimbus road case is a extra 300
Why do you need 2 powercon cables? Is one spare (lol), or do you need 2 separate sockets (each from a different switch, I'm guessing) to get this thing to work? Also, at 6.23 you cut off the most important part.. What happens when you drop the ice in (before you lower the net into the water later)? Isn't there a lot of smoke going all over the place due to sublimation? I mean just the heat from the surroundings should cause the dry ice pellets to sublimate (before they are even dropped in the water), so how can you have this around your DJ booth, where apart from your mixers cdj/controllers laptops etc you also have amps & processors there! Isn't it going to get really messy & foggy there?? I mean, if we are still going to get the mess, why not just stick to the Pea Souper, or the Nimbus?..
There are two heating elements. You can use one or both. Using both heats the water up quicker, but sucks ALOT of power. You need 2 separate electrical circuits to use both elements or you will trip breakers. There is some sublimation when you put the basket of ice in, but not as much as you may think. I wouldn't store the ice in the machine for hours, but a few minutes before the trigger should be fine.
Does anyone have info on how the rubber is installed on the fog outlet? I think mine is upside down. The hole is facing down so, not sure how fog can get to the hose from the chamber. I get almost no fog coming out and ADJ said that they thought everything was installed correctly and that I need to bring the water level to the max but, your video says not to LOL. Can you check if the hole on your rubber insert on the outlet is facing down or up? I think it should be up or else everything I learned in physics is wrong LOL
I hate when a company sell accessories that should come with the product especially based on high price products. I would get a dryer hose and Shop-Vac accessory tips
Try shoppers, shope Rite or Harry's teeter(by blocks) or go to Google maps and type dry ice and will gives you the locations where you can find by blocks or pebbles

So I’ve just looked up the specs as this is a pretty solid piece of equipment. Does it seriously weigh 94lbs in the case when it’s empty?
Yes. It is pretty close to that. With the case and the handles, it loads pretty easy though.

The low foggers like you mentioned are risky in venues with fire alarms. The fog from dry ice will not rise whereas I’m pretty sure the others will

No, dry ice is made from supercooled carbon dioxide and is heavier than air so won’t set off fire alarms
