A cat who has internet access. It had been raining a lot and the hill was really slick. Driver said he didn’t feel safe driving the hill that morning. Foreman said he would find someone else if he wouldn’t drive and this was the result lol.
They got really lucky with this one and the damage was just aesthetic. Little bit of steel to straighten and a little paint and it was like nothing ever happened. They definitely can and do take a beating and keep on ticking, loggers usually aren’t very easy on equipment.
the off center cab helps with visibility. it does not look like it but the hood is so wide that it would obstruct vision on the tight logging roads, the off center cab fixes that problame.
@@iateabadtaco it’s weird for me though cause they didn’t build the p12’s like that and the p12 is a pretty big (very long) truck it’s bonnet is quite large as well, I suppose that’s why they made some Mack R series with offset cabs.
It bugs the hell out of my ocd, but yeah I think they used a normal highway cab they had in production already and then offset it to give better visibility to the operator. The Kenworth and Hayes trucks were doing the same with their cabs as well.
Didnt even know these trucks existed, now i want one to come to the shop
Steve Buckler probably won’t see one cruising down the pavement anytime soon lol
The p16 is a legendary truck they dont make ay pacific trucks anymore but they have an absurd amount of power
those trucks always. blow my mind
I think you love your job.
Hell, I love your job.
That makes one of us.

The sheer size of these mosters

Was the truck badly damaged? Seems like it can take a beating and keep on ticking

@@shawnperry3900 i hope the driver told the foreman "i told you so!"
@@MaidenCanada let’s just say the foreman wasn’t around much longer after this.
holy top heavy. rock on
Cool video. Tight squeeze to say the least
Why did the build the p16 with an off center cab
I'm not sure, but it's one of my favourite details of the truck

@@TommyGhun are you talking about the pacific p12w roughneck ( the one from snowrunner) or the standerd p12?
When you run out of fuel in your P16 and use a normal truck instead
