Such a cool truck. Twelve cylinder Detroit 2-stroke. Water cooled brakes. Built for scuffing , not for buffing.
My buddy drove one for local logging company Vancouver, BC.

I thought these had Cat engines in them?
@@MrT79shakeshake. They had just about anything in them. All up to the customer. I have seen Cat, cummins, detroit, and even mack engines in some. The 1:16 scale RC one I built I put a Cat 3408 v8 in it. I have also seen pictures of a few with Cat 3412 V12’s
This mod should be the default SnowRunner log trailer, the current one could not fold and make the truck hard to make a turn.
Not to mention it wasn’t even close to the right size

This truck have DD 12v71 engine, but sounds like CAT 3608 4 stroke V8 turbodiesel.
@@Borismolotov Ye that's odd but it did have the 3408 as an option irl so it's not that bad.
Also i think you meant 3408 as there was no 3608 but eh i still knew what ya meant.
Interesting. Those logs are shaped like cedar with the bark texture of Hemlock or Douglas Fir…
i felt like the p16 was so incredibly underated when i used it, in real life it could carry triple of what it can in game, and it clearly looks like it should, something like this video, but it should count as two long logs
And what it cannot carry? As for me, this game more about unrealistically bad roads, rather than real logistics ))
@@fedoresko unrealistically bad performance for certain vehicles, the roads id even believe them since there are plenty of places on earth that are just wilderness, i dont know how anyone would want to live in them tho

Is it really? Looks like it was manually loaded for some unknown purpose. Anyway whole video looks more like role play, I'd better deliver these logs with another truck much faster )

is there an in game option to put the log carrier rear on your p16 or did you put it there with a crane?
that's special trailer mode specifically for p16(link is in the description). As you can see in the video with I used winch

Nice vid, can you post your wheel setting somewhere? I also use a g27 and it just doesnt work at all.
I've used a G27 too: set the wheel type to "custom" and manually map the controls and it will work.

I play on Xbox Series X and i see a huge list of mods i don't use because the game still crashes sometimes and mods can cause bugs on it making this worse.
Instead of crappy mods they should give us AWD upgrade for this truck in a free map.
The real life Pacific P16 is an old heavy cargo beast and by doing these stupid stunts in this game the devs ruinned this truck.
It has a beautiful model,heavy and very powerfull and i wish it was better equipped like Azov is.
I am a huge fan of american trucks and i have to avoid them because they are screwed here.
What i hate the most in Snowrunner is how ruinned the american trucks are compared to russians.
Before i played this game i have never even heard about russian truck brands.
The devs should keep believing russian trucks can beat americans.
These devs should wake up nobody even uses russian trucks except russians.

Its funny when Americans get all defensive like this lol. Before we start, I'm Canadian, so realistically I should have a Canadian bias, but I'm not stupid and know how to research instead of "my country best!!!" lol.
There are hundreds of videos of, for example, Ural Nexts which in game is the Veron Grad going thru huge amounts of mud. Videos of huge Russian 8x8s and 6x6s going through extreme amounts of snow and mud. It is realistic and realistically speaking Russian vehicles are normally better equipped for the terrain in Snow Runner because the terrain in Snow Runner is more common in Russia compared to the US. Yes, there definitely seems to be a Russian vehicle bias in the game, but that simply is because 8x8 vehicles, more specifically offroad 8x8 vehicles meant for extreme terrain is more commonly seen in Russia.
Also, "Huge power and some of them can make 1M KM without a single repair". First off, "without a single repair" is bullshit, every engine no matter the engine needs maintenance, if you don't maintain them, you WILL need to repair them.
Secondly, this is also WIDELY seen in Russian vehicles as well. There are old Urals with over 2m KM still running to this day on the original engine.

The first time i ever saw russian trucks was in this game and most countries out of USA and Europe use american and european like Australia or South Africa,these are examples.
Nobody in the world ever said a russian brand of trucks is the best but every ranking would say european and american.
I am suprised how russian trucks perform in this game but i really don't believe they are this good in real life but this is just me.
Lada is a brand they have for small cars,i heard a cousin of mine who was born in Venezuela wich has a president who is a fanboy of Putin and he said it's a piece of junk.
In Europe the worst trucks were 2 brands from Spain,they were pure junk as well as Mercedes wich are frail and unreliable.
Never in my life i've ever heard of one european country or any other in the world using russian trucks so that confuses to me.
Fun fact: Pacific is a Canadian company, started out west in BC, back in the 40s after the war.

Maybe there is no more market for them,i heard Pacific was sold to a big american brand and they stopped the production of those trucks.
I would like to know why this trailer is not even in the game to compliment this truck, why do you have to use a hwy truck trailer and not the actual trailer like this one that is made for this truck.
