- 睇落好靚，但其實到處都係灰塵。
前所未有咁污糟，搞足我3日3夜。唔好問我點解唔用咩咩咩清潔，點解唔點點點。如果當時我諗到嘅話你就唔會見到我咁辛苦。
Anyways，到埗五件事已完成左三件，接下來就係最難打嘅兩個大佬，車牌同搵工。

Eric, 你最好將此影片send比業主，並做好記錄留底。業主應該做完清潔先至交給租客。我的出租condo，每次收返來後都會先搵裝修檢修，油墻，再由清潔公司專業清潔，吾系自己求其做，系要洗吾少錢，其實系等於收少一個月租，但亦都系必須的，要對得住人地，但我知有D人吾系甘想，咪都想掙到盡。來到加拿大要保護自己，咪都要有證據。我會保留所有receipts，以防以後如果同租客有爭執，可以在法院上提供證據。所以你要保留記錄以防以後有咪野發生，保護自己，記住不要害人，但系要識得保護自己。

You could highlight the problem or something not functioning to the owner, coz you just moved in. If have anything spoiled, inform them.

Never use this agent again. He should have asked the landlord to clean the whole apartment and make it livable. It is not your job to clean this apt. Save this video and show the landlord when you move out. Show him the condition the apartment was when you move in. It's totally unacceptable. 佢哋喺蝦你 big time.

You wish. Most do not bother. However this also depends on the previous tenant, some are very clean and responsible. I have a few that left the apartments like a show apartment. Any , it only costs $350 to get some to deep clean a small unit.
From the condition I can see, the unit is in a pretty good shape.

就咁睇，業主或management office 只係做咗表面清潔，冇做deep clean. 你收到checklist 之後，應該第一時check晒啲電器爐頭門鎖和所有窗戶啲鎖有冇not working or not working properly.最好影埋相或video俾業主睇，叫業主攪番掂，通常業主都會叫你自己搵人修理後就俾張單佢，喺下個月租嗰度扣減。溫馨提示：check清楚大廈保險包括啲乜嘢? 自己一定要買份個人財物保險(如被人入屋爆竊等)，移民係需要從頭開始學㗎! 最好換過大門鎖。祝新居入伙，事事順利!🎉🎉🎉
我是業主，租了幾次了，我都找清潔公司加埋自己清潔細微地方，例如露台，地脚線，清洗油煙機，洗衣及乾衣機去塵等.

You did an excellent job!! It’s important to live in a clean environment because you don’t want to catch others germs. I would say it is the landlord’s responsibility to deliver an absolutely clean condo to you; I suppose your agent did not do a good job here. In Japan, you would have no such issues because the Japanese are civilized, they would have delivered to you a rental property that is sparkling clean. I should also add those dryer filter accumulations are a fire hazard, as high rise fires have started from such accumulations. You have done a great job in finding a new life here in Toronto, it’s not easy but you made it! It will be positive from now on, and I hope your girlfriend will join you soon. All the best!

租單位之前要確定該單位完整.清潔之餘亦要負責租约年期內的维修.為何攪到要自己清潔？🤔 藉此機會做運動？🙄
It is the responsibility of your landlord to clean the unit before handing it over to you. Ask your agent about it.

Eric, Please stop doing this, call your agent to get someone to do the cleanup and fix everything in your apartment tomorrow. It's not fun at all. I was so mad while I was watching this video. Doesn't matter how much you pay for the rent, it is the responsibilities of the agent/landlord to do the cleanup, etc before you move in. You should bring your friends to view the apartment or have a discussion with your friends before you rent this apartment. Look at the bedroom door! Windows are dusty and so as the bathroom, etc. these are not acceptable. Don't let people taking advantages from you. 努力加油 not this time, save your energy to do other things. Your agent is very irresponsible!

In terms of cleaning supplies, Scrubbing Bubbles is great for cleaning tubs. It gets stains and grime out effectively. If you are looking for more natural and organic means to clean, the classic baking soda and vinegar usually works, by adding a little lemon to the concoction it gives a nice citrus smell :) Mrs.Myers cleaning products aren't bad either. There are more consumers gearing towards less chemical products in Canada which is something you will discover in due course.

小小提示：在加拿大生活洗費不能用香港比較。因加拿大儲錢難，稅高。$2400月租並不便宜

屋内的HRV filter 也要清潔了，否则有可能影响空气質素，特别前手有养宠物。
There is a filter in the in unit heater. Look for a rectangular white panel. Open it and see the filter. Measure the dimensions. Get a new filter from Home Depot or Canadian Tire.

哎呀， 好多方法清潔，可以簡單快啲， 如吸塵機，THICK漂白水，梳打粉，白醋，焗爐油有專用清潔浸液，快好多
I think you should file a complaint to:
(1) Agent, who did not follow through & make sure apartment is thoroughly clean. Normally. Either the owner will thoroughly clean the apartment or pay the agent to have it cleaned
(2) It should not be the tenant’s job to clean an apartment like this when first move in.
This video is a really helpful backup for you!
Try and ask for some compensation through your rent. Read again the rental agreement and find the clause like “apartment will be cleaned at point of move etc.
Please protect yourself !

你個業主好有問題，呢啲嘢唔係租户做。俾個list你對，咁如果有乜冬瓜豆腐唔見咗就入你數都似。你應該同你個agent投訴，不過之前你間airbnb又到期。成件事係就算想俾建議你，單嘢都發生係九月頭。留言喺上條片都趕唔切。Eric應該做下件事問吓啲加拿大嘅觀眾同朋友先。畢竟啲常識係同香港唔同。租間屋係應該入住即刻可以住，睇怕啲電器似就壞咁款⋯⋯連抽油煙機個網都唔買替換，呢個業主真係好嘢。
記住, 下次租屋清潔及修理係你屋主負責. 洗碗清潔精 / barking soda /vinegar 可清除大部份油漬/汚漬 只要不與其他化學物品混合使用,安全無害可多加利用.

不論租住或購買，我發覺英國、加拿大、澳洲，呢三個地方，發覺澳洲係最好的，入住之前整間屋都係乾淨，搬入去就可以住得，當然，你搬走嘅時候也要清潔得一乾二淨，我覺得好公平，所以在澳洲租屋住，唔需要入到去再做一大輪嘅清潔，非常之好

另外我個焗爐同你同款㗎，可以分享一招俾你 用個焗盤加水同清潔劑之後180c 焗佢幾個鐘 之後啲頑固油漬就會好易抹得甩👍🏻
清理擦拭有油的橱柜用lysol的消毒湿巾也可以，去油不错，油烟机的吸的地方用螺丝刀把小圆行卸下来，喷上heavy duty等一会儿再擦拭，就容易很多！
