@@jp_4797 I wil make it clear. You have 08:30- 12:00 (am) - lunch - 13:00 -16:30 (pm) for indices. So you have the silver bullet time periods from 10:00 to 11:00 am and 02:00 to 03:00 pm.
It's funny to me that ICT thinks he's explaining something clearly that is probably clear in his mind, and yet he has never actually explained the strategy on YT properly. 😅 And I mean giving clear step by step rules that you need for functioning mechanical trading. I've probably watched every stream or clip on the 9:50am-10:10am macro he's shared on YT, and it's never, ever been clear to me. Actually it's the same for everything he teaches; there's always a million questions I have - or he'll say something different, randomly changing details when he wants (like what constitutes an order block😂). I love listening to him, but if he'd only put as much energy into explaining SMC models that he does telling us how incredible SMC is, it would change everything.. but nobody's perfect I guess lol. One day I hope to make my own channel where I can explain some of the more advanced concepts he has but more clearly, because I am pretty certain it's not just me who feels this way.
Completely agree. I recall he said it was intentional. He wants people to "find their own model", he doesn't really want people to have his full knowledge in trading with clarity, otherwise it will make him no longer in the 1% group. He only wants to transfer all his knowledge to his son and daughter. I can't blame him though, I will do the same if I have that knowledge i.e. keeping it in the family. But yeah that's the reality man, what he is teaching is basically just "draw of liquidity", the rest is up to the traders what they want to do with it and how to do it.
@NotAverageJoe not sure about that man, I've been getting through all of his twitter spaces/podcasts recently and i'm getting the impression he has a strong and genuine desire to teach and change people's lives. I know he's said if the algorithm were to change, he would probably withhold that for himself - but on this matter I think perhaps breaking things down into a step by step process is simply not his strength. It is one of my strengths and I often get frustrated that other people can't simplify things like I can but there are things I can't do well myself so I get it. 🤷♂️ Shame I don't know Michael IRL, I think we could get along well and i could try and get him to see why he needs to break things down for us haha.
ICT has clearly stated that he has no intention of making his teachings super easy. People who put a lot of time watching his videos and implementing that in real market will get what ICT is actually trying to teach. Most of his viewers watch his videos just to get a trading model that works 99% of the time, that is never gonna happen. ICT's 2016-17 Core Content was taught for 12 months, so that those students would learn a specific month's content and have time to watch those specific things happen in live market for the entire month. Yet some people think they will get all his knowledge by binge watching his videos. If you're actually serious in trading, go through his entire library for multiple times, not just a single video multiple times, go through his ENTIRE library multiple times. You'll surely get to know what he's trying to teach. He isnt handing you a single setup, he's letting you explore and adapt to whatever trading style is suitable for you.
@Primo Trades You sure sound confident. Tell me, in the silver bullet example provided by ICT in the April 13th stream, where would the stop loss go? What tick are you entering on? About order blocks, is an order block multiple up-close/down-close candles or the last candle before the reversal? For the macros, are you expecting the sweep, the displacement or the rebalancing within that window? Also, he's teaching the silver bullet "MODEL" what part of that is up for interpretation. ICT has repeatedly said that a trading model needs a rigid framework, maybe you didn't listen to all of his videos and podcasts enough times 😂
his teaching is to show as a whole how the market moves, each concept links together to illustrate visually how price flows , if i could use an anology that is similar, i was training in the art field for years, i always hated when the teachers would have us relearn fundamentals , like basic anatomy, volumetric lighting, and perspective, i was thinking in my head , fuck all this just give me "the secret formula" , but the pros always said "learn the rules first and THEN you can break them", this perspective changed everything for me, thats what ICT teaches, he isnt going to give you a rigged 100% structured plan that works all the time because the markets arnt like that, they are dynamic , alive , if you learn his concepts and then go in and train your eyes for them you see how price "flows" like waves ,and then once you have confidence in your ability to read the waves , your mental game will be the only thing holding you back from executing on your cultivated intuition, go into the charts and start looking for what hes been talking about and you'll see it everyday
hey man,, you have nice info but you are getting lost in your ranting a bit too much. Can you just accept the fact that people worse than you have more viewers and get over it? There is a reason why we are here but you are diluting your precious content by being angry/resentful etc and ranting. Honestly it is very unecessary. If we didnt feel like these other guys were untrue or just lucky we wouldnt be here. I personally found your channel because i wanted to understand things. So you are doing a good job.
Lmfao get your feelings out... who cares. Just trade... if you don't like it, don't watch. If he's making you profitable, shut up and apply it. No one gives a fuck about your pick me opinion
Thank You for posting this - I really appreciate you doing this. It has helped heaps
Love you ICT
