Hey Sally, I am learning clinical hypnosis and those phrases are meant to affirm or reaffirm what the hypnotist is suggesting. It's the same as when you nod your head "yes" even when you have already said the word. The idea is to plant the suggestion and once the person "agrees" the hypnotist moves on to the rest of the suggestion/session.
It's call a Tag question is use to get agreement like this is a very good video isn't it? And I know your reading this aren't you? And what a wonderful video isn't it? And I know you understand don't you? And your going to find you own way to use this idea won't you?
@@jimmytigert8109 Tags help to build agreement internally and externally in a kind of loop, don't they? Hypnotists are all about a subject's subjective experience of reality, agree or agree?
Hello Igor, I'm not entirely sure if you respond to comments on your videos or not. However I'm currently going through your Power of Conversational Hypnosis CD collection.
Eventually I'm hoping to get into street hypnosis and possibly stage hypnosis.
Could you recommend any other audio books, e-books, videos, or actual books to consider reading?
I'm sure you get tons of inquiries every day and I don't want to bother you too much, but I would really appreciate it. :)

The same theme occurs with male hypnotists. They think they are causing the changes, as if they have some power over another person. The men say things like, "My success rate with weight loss clients is 100%"! No. A hypnotist is only a facilitator. The client does the work and uses their own resources to affect change. It is like that horrible TV show "Dance Moms". That dance studio owner is morbidly obese, picks dancers from other studios to do some routines to enter contests and win a trophy. And the big fat choreographer always says that "she" won the trophy. Uh, she was not on the dance floor, she did not perform the routine and she couldn't do a flip or straighten her knee and point her foot to save her life. Choreography and performance are too separate activities. The choreography on paper will not win the dance contest. The dancers win with their performance. As a hypnotist I do not use aversion statements, cause amnesia or tell them to notice light switches for days. Yuck.
Why does that guy keep moving the microphone about ? Total distraction .
