    Depends what you're looking for. It's always recommended to remove the capacitor from the circuit to avoid any false reading.

    You should open up to see what battery they are using... Thanks

    I could use one of those, building my own inductors and coils. Wish it can go MHz range though for my FM stuff. STM32...oh there can be mods done to it, like a different display style or even increased precision or frequency if possible. Kinda wish you could review T12 soldering stations, I'm planning of getting one like the Yihua 948DB+-II or build an STM32 kit and use community firmware, NOT keen on getting the Hakko 936 clones, they tend to be iffy. Keep on testing!

      I'll be reviewing more soldering stations end of the month..I actually have the Yihua 948DB+-II on order as well ! 😃

    if i test the capacitor on the circuit , it gives the same value or not ? and which better to measure the ESR or Capacitance value? and at what frequency to use for testing the capacitor by LCR ?

    It is built to last, long term reliability is what we should always have in mind buying electronics. Keep on testing! 😊

    • @KeepOnTesting
      @KeepOnTesting  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes no problem there. Just remember to unplug the circuit from mains power.

    Should I get this instead of a DE 5000?

    • @KeepOnTesting

      Yes! Better build quality IMO and much nicer display. 👍

    Its a sofisicated device, not too cheap, but absolutely pointles in work. If U need to check a capacitor is good or need to be replaced, just check it by simpliest device from ali. Any doubts? Throw it away and put new.

      Maybe handy for inductors, though.

      you also need to test the new replacement caps before installation

    Looks like a nice one from UniT, nice sharp display and good build quality. Really no excuse for no manual at this price level - even cheapo meters usually come with a manual, though I assume its available on line. Looks like a winner though at half the price of the Sanwa

    • @KeepOnTesting
      @KeepOnTesting  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a beautiful lcr meter. Not quite in the same league as the Sanwa but awfully close.
      UNI-T definitely has a better display and great interface..for the money you cant go wrong.

    The charging port is Mini-USB, not micro-USB :)

    Why are there 2 of these listed on amazon ? One is 239 and the other is 189...can't tell a difference.

      Same product? There's a few different variations of this model.

    The mastech MS5308 lcr meter appears to be cheaper (especially if you compare it to the uni-t UT622E which has 100Khz), comes with twisters as standard and has 100hz, 120hz, 1Khz, 10Khz and 100Khz. My Mastech also does not have the chip markings removed which will make repair easier.

    • @KeepOnTesting
      @KeepOnTesting  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Mastech is a good LCR meter and does ship with everything but I don't really think it's a portable test instrument. That thing is huge ( I have one). I do like the display size on the Mastech (like a big screen TV). I still prefer the UNI-T overall. Plus the Mastech takes a lot of batteries to power as well.

    Darren. I actually think you where a little bit mean with your rating this time, given the price I think it's worth another 1/2 star😀

      Hehe..well Shaun..pulling those half stars is like pulling teeth! ✨️ It's definitely a solid test instrument and well worth the price of admission! 😃
