Hello im Evangelina I'm 35 and just got diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I'm so scared and nervous but watching some of your videos so far are helpful. I get my port inserted this coming week and I'm so emotional. Now I just wanted to ask how did you get through doing a double mastectomy. I was told they have to remove one but I was thinking of just doing both. But is there a way to save it from being removed at all.
Hi Evangelina, I’m so glad you found me. I know my videos can help you. I’m sure you have a lot of emotions right now. It’s scary having cancer and having to make big decisions especially surgery decisions. This is such a personal matter to each person. My recommendation is to meet with your breast surgeon, plastic surgeon, and oncologist and have all the reasons explained to you why you would do one surgery over another. I personally got through having my surgery because I knew my risk for recurrence was high and I was OK removing my breasts because of that. I had a plan for reconstruction. I also had physical therapy to help with my healing. Having the mindset that this was the best way for me personally to be cancer free is probably what got me through the most.
My mom has had Colin and lung cancer 4 times she was in remission for 5 years now she just found out she has breast cancer. She is now 75 so she thinks she want make it because she is older. She is scarf of getting so sick again from cemo
Fasting around the time of treatment is showing to help with side-effects quite a bit. Also, fasting in general along with a ketogenic diet stops cancer DEAD in its tracks due to carbohydrate restriction. Look up Professor Thomas Seyfried on TH-cam.
Yes, i’ve heard fasting before and during chemo can make the chemo more effective. I did not do this myself. I think it’s worth asking your medical team about. I don’t know about the ketogenic.

She should ask her doctors what she should do then decide if she can start that treatment and see how it goes. The choice is always hers to make.
