I own a srt8 300c and a Challenger rt. Both have the same mods, intake, Diablo tune and some work to the exhaust. The srt8 always pulls away from the Challenger like it's standing still.

I was in the market not too long ago for an srt8 300 but I found an 06 300c with 38 thousand miles so I wound up getting it just because the mileage was so low.. it's a nice car and its quick for being around 4000 pounds but its gonna take a bit more than just a few bolt ons to walk on the 6.1 cams, Intake boost etc.. I'm happy with it overall I got an intake on it for now but next month or so I'm going to get a predator 2 headers and do the exhaust and that's enough for me to have a little fun without breaking the bank with tickets.. good vid seems pretty accurate if you ask me those 6.1s are no joke out of the box let alone the 6.4..

If you take a Heat gun to the black plastic next to the windshield it will get rid of the grey color. Just dont hold it too close.

I'm in Canada and I own two 2007 3.5rwd and 5.7awd 300s, will try this in 3 months when we get warm weather again. If it works thank you so much, it's been bothering me for a decade on my black one hahaha.

I have a 2006 Chrysler 300c 5.7 and all I did was toke off my air resonator,disabled 4 cylinder deactivation, 93 octane tune,245/45/20 wheels and a 6.4 challenger walked me slowly
5.7 still pretty quick and drives smother

6.1 is 425 rwh...5.7 is 340 rwh. 300 weighs 5200 pounds...magnum 3800.
2005-2008 5.7 Hemi had 340 horse....in 2009 they changed the engine a bit and it has 368 hp and more torque,basically a tuner and everything you have on the 300 isnt as quick as a stock 09-10 300 C..
The new 8 speed is a game changer and really wakes the 5.7 up albeit road tests with the 8 speed make it harder for traction..

01trsmar the 5.7 has 340 crank hp it only puts down 250-275 to the tires lol and the 6.1 puts some 340-370
S gill puts 290 stock to tires
The first 5.7 hemi weren't good but the 2nd generation 5.7 had the 6.1 heads and it's when they made more hp , the 8spd helps a lot.
5.7 , 6.1 , 6.2 , 6.4 share the same crankshaft size the piston bore are different.

You should try the newer 300s with the 8 speed. Mine took out a 2009 srt 300 about 2 weeks ago.

Those 6.1s are no slouch. I wish they would have kept those over the 5.7s when the 6.4 came out, but they probably wouldn't have passed the new standards and mds would habe ruined that engine like it did the 5.7s.

the issue is you are racing a old 5.7 my 09 plus or 8 speed would hang with the srt8
the newer srt's will walk from the newer 5.7. its a similar year comparison
J there is no newer 300 srts in the us though unfortunately. Stuck with the 5.7 now lol Woulda been badass with the 8 speed

250 min per day for insurance to cover you on the track (required by law)
All the safety gear(required by law) will run you $1000-2000 depending on your style and brands
Then you can start place your bets
Here in T.O it’s $30 per pass to the track and min $100 wagers per run usually $500 per run. We only do $100 runs to help out the little guys....like you 😉

those magnum srt8s are not that fast. I know from experience I used to run neck to neck with my previous 302 hp e500. with my current 382 hp e550 I beat them like for 2 cars. also a chrysler 300c srt8 are faster than magnum srt8 and charger srt8 they have same engine but the 300c srt8 is ligher ...

Street Wagon713 honestly I never measure the 0-60 time but those e500 weight 3800 lbs is 500 pounds lighter than magnum srt8 and it have 339 lbs of torque it was a sleeper.
Well my best 0-60 is 4.7 for a 4,260 pound wagon it moves .
Street Wagon713 yeah but stock magnums srt8 due like 5.1-5.3 not 4.7 in fact look at the the oficial dodge 0-60 and quarter mile time and the magnum due 5.3-13.7 is the slowest of the srt8s.
Thinking about dropping the 6.1 into my awd magnum rt. I would get some really good 0 -60 times.

this is stupid the srt8 is not a stock car it has many different upgrades to tranny suspension exsost different rear gears not to mention it has the bigger hemi that makes 400+hp compared to the 350 of the 5.7

Good stuff but you guys did something wrong on that 300. I have an 05 chrysler 300c 5.7 keeping up to 2015 scatpacks whitch are 6.4. . All I have is an in intake , Diablo i2, and resognator and muffler delete.
Cesar Islas your smoking crack, the 392 has 145hp over the 340hp hemi, with all your mods your lucky if you got 25hp, my 392 will eat you all day everyday, so with a 6.1, so stop with your bs cause your comment is just wrong period. 5.7 hemi is cool but its just hard to beat the big brother with out major mods, cam, stroker, or supercharger

If your beating 392 cars either your leaving out what mods you really have, the 392 car is fucked up, or that coke has you dreaming of things that didnt happen
