While Instagram puts the focus on the wonderful personal experiences of users, LinkedIn does the same thing in terms of the professional profiles, creating a misleading image of how well-skilled users are in their careers, just for the sake of bragging about their self-image on these kind of networks and, thereby, creating a sense of frustration for other users who compare their job positions to those of other people with similar professional interests in an attempt to pursue their goals. To put it mildly, this drives me a bit up the wall. As the saying goes, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence till you get to the other side.
