The final segment, regarding Orpheus and Eurydice, in the film when the petals are falling, Christian looks back at Satine and that is when she cries in pain as she collapses down into his arms and dies. It is similar to Orpheus looking back at Eurydice as they are almost out of the Underworld, and Hades condition to Orpheus was to not look back and trust that Eurydice is right behind him to follow him out of the Underworld. Orpheus looked back at Eurydice too soon and she was pulled back to Hades.
This video needs way more views/likes because it is so amazing and detailed. It makes me love this movie even more (as if I knew that was possible) this movie and its characters are so rich in symbolism and I thank you for the work that was put into this video
omg this video has saved me, I have an English exam tomorrow and one of the text we are studying is moulin rouge and I know nothing about it, thanks to this I might pass.
Ngl I saw this movie in high school and went in with the intention of hating it and blowing it off but I’m surprised how much the film won me over, Moulin Rouge is truly a masterpiece.
this movie is terrible ,it just your bottom of the barrel trash movie.The fact this was shown in the big screen is digraceful.I cant fathom how ppl will like this plot hole infested ,rushed movie.

I Love that movie
But the ending is very depressing
I can't stop crying for about two hours after lol
))
why?
I think Baz is a madman to create something like this. It confuses the minds of viewers who see it for the first time

@@KakeKira it gets worse as you grow older.
One of my fav movies
It a musical film so innovative that it could be compared to 'Citizen Kane.'
I feel like you're the one enjoying movies the most, i envy you
Ngl, I’ve learned ab this movie bc of Obi Wan’s GF on Clone Wars
Ewan doesn't have much luck with Satines, looks like. Or maybe tragedy is ingrained in the name.
@@FictionPsychology yep, poor guy…His lover was killed by the literal devil 2 times… Tho, tbh, the devil with jet packs and glowing swords was cooler
I'm not sure if it's true, but I've seen it float around that the Star Wars writers enjoy Moulin Rouge so much they named his love interest Satine.
