3:15 I work in a CNC shop here in Spain. We used to have to fill the bucket in the pile and do the "walk of shame" at least 10-15 times in a row just to refill the coolant tank in our machines. Now we have a distilled water container (one of those cube-shaped with alumINIUM bars) with a water pump that sends water through a MIXER-REGULATOR (Dont know its name, but, sure you understood). That mixer mixes the distilled water with the concentrated coolant-cuting fluid from a 50liters barrel in the specified proportion and sends this properly mixed coolant fluid directly to my machine´s tank via a simple hose. That was a truly game changer. I know too many words just to say: GO BUY A GARDEN HOSE
When my daughters were young they were absolutely obsessed with "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" That said the only way I could get them to sleep was to play and sing along with Tool, Shinedown, and Linkin Park. My favorite Chomps is the habanero or jalapeno beef, a close second is the venison. I get Chomps every other week at Sprouts Farmers Market. Great work on the door!
Nice! I love this project! Hope you thought about the front door gap that needs to fit the profile of the door in max opening position, otherwise you will get some nice crunch sounds while opening the door. In CAD it's simply intersecting the door skin in max opened position with the front fender skin (nice geometrical projection skills required in real life) this will create the theoretically "minimal" front door gap line. If you have a 3D scanner it can be done using CAD pivoting the door skin around the hinge axis of the door... or... after writing all this...realizing in real life it's easier working from front to back...ad you mentioned...haha I am so happy I'm not involved in this project it would put a knot in mind😂 Looking forward to the next workshop hang out!
air fittings and hoses are also good for water. you could make a super cheap line from the sink to the cutting table. RV water tank blow out fittings connect to regular air hose quick connect. If you want more flow you can remove the valve from quick connect couplers but it of course wouldn't close/seal anymore. I recommend stainless steel since the steel balls on the couplers I used are all rusty but I don't know if the steel balls in ss couplers are also ss. could also fill it with grease.
Wow, the 914 deer incident brought back memories! Around 1980, when I was but a young man, I hit a deer at night on the interstate in Minnesota! Came out of nowhere. It was a very pregnant doe, several hundred pounds. It destroyed the light, but that likely saved my life. That propelled the deer up and it bounced on the roof and trunk. Very shaken, I pulled over and used my CB radio (yes, I had a handle and everything) and someone called the troopers from a land line. Unfortunately, I had to drag the very dead deer off the road. The trooper was very nice and after seeing the deer and the car, confirmed I was very lucky. He had seen too many deer go through windshields and people killed. Other than the headlight and a bunch of deer poop, the car was fine. Your client was lucky!
Another thing the water does on a cutting table like that is stopping the buildup of swarf. With water in it the swarf doesn't clump up into a thick mass that's hard to break up.
The term is "REGULATORS... Mount Up!" The Roof of course is going to be a hard top but to go crazy and add a single piece moon roof would be dope. I'm still not convinced about those headlights.
Ahh detail work! Always takes time. BTW, speaking of ITBs for that Ford engine, have you guys subbed to Kelly Coffield's YT channel? He makes amazing custom ITB intake castings in his home based lost-foam foundry for Ford engines. Worth a gander....
Before we had youtube this is what I wanted but the only thing I got was Pimp My Ride and it was so frustrating to watch but it was the only thing available so I just had to endure 🤣
How are you guys gonna prefend galvanic corrosion on spot where the Porsche metal meets the new aluminium tubing and panels? In my opinion you need to prime everything in an open epoxy primer were you can glue on and then glue everything together. Hope to hear from you.
How will Project Jigsaw 🤔 be titled for the roads in Pennsylvania. With the original car being a boxter and the final car looking like a 1960 supercar ?
Hey crew… X T I - Update 005: Lowers seats to the maximum! Even have indentations in the floor, which a then lower structured seat dips into! Then modify the roof to accommodate, which should considerably lower the cars height! I believe initially lowering Jigsaws height would set forward the parameters of its styling I.e. sleek design. Control them curves.. HNY 2025 🎉
TIP FOR YOU ; IN EVERY VIDEO MAKE SURE YOU SHOW YOUR CAR IN FULL VIEW BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE THAT SOMEONE IS WATCHING YOUR VIDEO FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IF HE DOESNT SEE THE FULL CAR THE INTEREST IS NOT THERE, IF HE SEES IT IN FULL ATT THE START, HE WILL BE INVESTED INTO ITT HENSE MORE SUBS AND MORE VIEWS. :) Good Luck. Now Send Me 1000 Euros For My Tip :D
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE STOP making videos where you accomplish next to nothing. Neither of you are clever or entertaining enough to just yammer endlessly through the video. You need a beginning, a middle and a finished product. Not yammering about the “first thing I’m to do” and then you do NOTHING. Last chance to correct then I’m out
Came here to watch a man making a car door. Left with the anxiety searching for the meaning of life. Truly poetic.

Just here for the CHOMPS.
Delicious.

Watching an original car build… asking existential questions… what else do you need? Another great episode! Happy New Year Ryan and Tony!
Chomps are extremely good. Right after video of you taking a bite and making a "eh, they're alright" face.
NICE. 😋

watching this project grow is so cool and inspiring!
Another great video, thanks!

Nice! Can't wait to see what you come up with for external door handles. A set of old school Fiat Spider door handles would sick on that.

Love porche, love more what you guys do with that porche😎
As far as Chomps flavors, I've only tried the original beef and turkey, but they are good. I keep a bag of each in a drawer in my office.
I'm liking this car more and more with every episode.

Songs like that are examples of "Bird Language"; directly indirect.
Not "Assemble" it's: "REGULATORS! Mount Up!"
It does feel like 69 episodes. Really starting to take shape now
Ryan is beefed up with chomps.
TONY!!! Ryan is using metric again!!! Make him use body parts and 16's of body parts!

914 😍
Are there plans to re-skin the A-pillars?
@22:58 was I the only one waiting for that window to implode?
No, you were not alone.I was sure we’d see the window shatter.

I wanna be friends with these guys. Seem like we could do like a super smash melee tournament and then work on a car
