My mum has been going for 46 yrs this yr . as you can see we LOVE it there and we are going Saturday ! We can't wait and we keep playing pontins songs , boogie with the blues and having a little dance in the house lol , amazing there (it's our second home , we go every July ! )
I know the accommodations at Pontins aren't always great (Although personally I have never actually encountered my chalets in the mess I have seen online) but their shows are amazing! Other than Butlins, I think Pontins has some of the best shows and even just the stage looks better than more pricey options! I have been to many Pontins locations as a child even up to a young adult, Pontins was the place we would go every year because it was nice, cheap and since I was young, I didn't notice the many imperfections it has because as a child you pick up on the magical things and (most of the time) look past anything bad.

Went to Southport back in 2013-14 and don't remember what happened. But I do know one thing, the shows were just amazing.
