Hah! why the heck let YT this dropping in front of me right now?? Cannot fathom it's been exactly 30 years my engineering students class went on a business- and university visit week trip to England - London, Cambridge, Sizewell, Hethel, Southampton, etc with base in London near Picadilly and the Apollo, and our go to disco was a three floor and then another more bar like.... ....and this was the first time we heard the tunes of Saturday Night. After an exhillerating intellectual, scientific, partygoing and exhausting helluwa week we went back home to Denmark. And it should take another full three weeks before it really was fully in the air air at home...and first by then I learned Whigfield was my fellow countryman. Yes, time and tempo of news spread was certainly snail mail by then 😂 THANKS for upload! ❤❤
I understand that. I am 36 too. That bring me memories of 1994. I was 6-7 then and I was a happy child. I was discovering the world and enjoyed with books, TV, toys, games… everything was new for me then!! And then I usually listen this on Radio, parties or whatever.

My mama used to listen to this and a whole bunch of songs before dropping me off at the babysitters. It was all good cause she would spoil me before dropping me off and take me down this winding road that had tons of cool Cars and people partying up and down the street. She was a queen, everyone loved her back in the day
I graduated in 1993 and I swear I've never heard this song. It sounds like she composed the whole thing on a child's Casio keyboard. Why was this a hit?

My theory is this:
LPs were sellable but bulky

CDs sold the same as LPs, therefore profit
Profit = strong industry = lots of good work and innovation

profit made by selling ring tones - hence crazy frog charting
itunes made music profitable again, but far less so than the golden era of CD distribution

I got into so much trouble for not dancing this properly back in the day.
Quack quack quack quack 🦆🦆🦆🦆
2024 and I'm 50 years of age and wish I could go back to 1994 age 20. I did the dance with the gang on the floor in Preachers nightclub, Waterford Ireland. The very best of times I'd go back in a heartbeat. We had it so good if only we could have seen how the world would be in 2024......
I'm 35 and I feel the same way.
Ok boomer, yikes🤢🤢
Nobody is stopping you from having a good time, is there? The fault is clearly on you. Clubs still exist. Crazy, right? You don't need alcohol, you don't need friends, you don't need drugs.
Just go party and have a good time, you're just blinded by nostalgia 😂🤮
Everything comes to an end eventually.. No return.. 😮
37 here.

Miss being a teenager in the 90s. It was such a magical time in my life, the best time of my life. I'm thankful to have had the blessing of growing up in the 90s.
I was a toddler in the late 90s but I remember all these evergreen songs
Rachel DeCiantis you’re the 90s?
I am from 90's party era... Vengaboys, spice Girls, MLTR ruled
So ur 12?
I was a teenager in the 90s too. Looking forward to early parkinsons disease, should be any day now.
Please take me back to the 90's when my childhood was filled with wonderful music and exciting activities. Best music to start your Saturday chores...
La música está en internet, para qué de vuelta a los 1990?
Freemasons won't allow the good music.
this is a crazy comment cause i’m listening to this song while doing my saturday chores lol
My 7 year old found this the other day and said "Mom this new song is so cool!" I was proud, but I told her "No dear, it came out when I was your age." I am grateful she reminded me of this song, and I'm proud that she likes it. Now she wants to do her hair like that!
Kelsey Crider wrapped in a towel?
Kelsey Crider that’s so adorable!!
Kelsey Crider aww that’s brilliant hah
Minors with internet access will kill their innocence and childishness. Just saying...
Kelsey Crider r/thathappened
I wonder sometimes how after no marketing, no avenue to promote this except MTV did this song make its way to India. Every school party, Every car music system, Every night club had people dancing to this. Today's kids have no idea about what fun actually is. Thank you dear(est) 90s.
Anos 80/90 foram mágicos. Resta apenas a nostalgia.
Spanish Speaking Islands😉

Same here🤣
Same energy
Da ra ri ra🎶

where your go dear
Hah! why the heck let YT this dropping in front of me right now??
Yes, time and tempo of news spread was certainly snail mail by then 😂
THANKS for upload! ❤❤
The year is 2023 and its still a banger in clubs, what a privilege to be alive our youth was worth the living.
Most of the greatest songs were 80's-90's
@@Kieran2023💯

I understand that. I am 36 too. That bring me memories of 1994. I was 6-7 then and I was a happy child. I was discovering the world and enjoyed with books, TV, toys, games… everything was new for me then!! And then I usually listen this on Radio, parties or whatever.

Década de 80 foi a melhor pra quem era criança e década de 90 foi a melhor pra quem era adolescente. Eu fui criança nos 80 e adolescente nos 90. Ou seja, eu era feliz e sabia disso Obrigado, Senhor. 🙏
It’s 2:35 am and I randomly woke up with this song in my head. LOL. I never thought of this song in like over 25 years. The brain is a funny thing.

Gosh, does this remind me of happier times back in the 90's! The 90's was an awesome decade, all the best games and songs came out in the 90's and very early 00's, eg 2000-2001! I wish I could go back just to re live the 90's as a youngster. Today is too PC and health and safety has gone MAD!!!
The 80's and the 90's were the best decades for music!
OK Boomer
aqua, whigfield, scatman, vengaboys......... BEST YEARS!!!

As a 90's kid I remember for sure it was superhit in my country too. It was everywhere in every party
Eu tinha 14 anos, colocava essa música no rádio do meu quarto, no volume máximo, meus pais vinham reclamar do som alto... Saudades desse tempo!
Não gosto muito de ouvir essas músicas, bate uma nostalgia muito grande da minha adolescência

This very song marks the beginning of the golden era of euro-pop.. With this very song, the explosion of happy, up-beat popmusic began.
It's Euro dance, Euro pop was in the 80's, 2 golden decades of music.
the best evaaaaaaaa, nothing can compete with this. Girls put this on before going out, you will feel free and fun
Año 2050 y aun se sigue oyendo este temazo de los '90 del siglo XX

Who in 2020? I remember When my mom was with me and she used to listen to this song a lot.
Centennials
My mama used to listen to this and a whole bunch of songs before dropping me off at the babysitters. It was all good cause she would spoil me before dropping me off and take me down this winding road that had tons of cool Cars and people partying up and down the street. She was a queen, everyone loved her back in the day
@@BrettDavis88 the good old days

I heared this in radio but i every time forgote name Xd
I graduated in 1993 and I swear I've never heard this song. It sounds like she composed the whole thing on a child's Casio keyboard. Why was this a hit?
