My friend was almost a 411 case. During his college years he went out to do some grocery shopping and when he left the store he had a psychotic episode. He described that all he could think of was that he had to get away. He ended up on his own just running down the road until he literally made it across state lines(keep in mind he had a car, just didn't even think of it); whenever anyone stopped to ask if he was okay he would always assure them he was fine until he eventually ducked into the woods. It wasn't until he was reported missing that people gave up tips and eventually a group of around fifty or so hunters/outdoorsman found him. When they found him way out in the woods he did everything to reassure them he was fine and that they didn't need to help him. Got forcibly brought to a hospital and took a couple years to recover fully. No history of mental problems, no problems at home or in life. His mind just literally said "WE GOTTA GET OUT". Truthfully if it wasn't for the fact he had his psychotic break in town and people saw him he likely would have never would have been found.
I went into psychosis and ended up in the middle of the nearby city. Walked around for 2 days. Finally a cop drove me home. And I went to the mental hospital the next day.
@@SuperAwesome19 Everything you think are objective facts about your reality can completely shift in psychosis--and make complete sense to you. You'd see that in local news. Today they also shut down everything to start searching parties in rural areas. It just won't happen in a big city because there are enough people to search anyways.

I’m thinking more along the lines of SA’d by the brother…they tend to forget or not remember one person in particular more so than others. I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding Mr. Paulides and his content, and I'm by no means saying that I know him any better than anyone else, but my high school art teacher (Joey), who was probably the most loving parental figure in my life, really looked up to him long before 4-11 became a TH-cam thing. I believe I met him once, briefly, at a book signing that Joey took me to (which hardly counts as meeting someone), but I could just be getting that mixed up with the time she took me to get a book signed by Cesar Milan. I found out a few years ago when I decided to reach out and touch base with her again that she had passed away, but even if I don't watch the episodes, every time Mr. Paulides uploads, I feel a little warmth in remembering the most influential, kind person in my life. I guess what I'm trying to say is controversy or not, 4-11 has a special place in my heart and I'd absolutely love to see you cover some of the cases. I like watching these cases being converted, and pretending that I'm watching with Joey while we comment on not only the case, itself, but the work of art that the video is that we're watching, and discussing the techniques and effort that went into each scene. Every time I see someone produce a video with cheap effects but otherwise great content, I think of how Joey would point out that the content is what makes it a worthwhile piece of art.

The Missing 411 cases are some of the most bizarre missing persons stories, I have ever heard. I love Oompa's rabbit hole videos, it's all stuff that really interests me and Caleb's great at talking about it. He's as entertaining as he always is, but can still get the stories across in an informative and easy way to understand.
Gee, I think you're spot on! Other You Tubers have revealed its not big foot or Aliens in ex-Officer Dave's videos. Something creepy is happening buts its not big foot or UFO folks.
I like to think that after spending a small fortune on the freedom of information requests, he realized many of the disappearances are actually explainable and decided to omit details to add to the overall narrative of 411. The cases that have absolutely no explanation are the most interesting, but they are few and far between, so he needed to make it look bigger than it is. At the end of the day, man's trying to recoup his bag, lol

You def gotta do more of these 411 episodes!! Fit your style and the channel well. Not only that you can do different takes on certain cases like this episode being cases that may have explainable reasons for that person missing or their “odd” behaviors after being found. Then do ones that are the most odd and unexplained. Ones that may or may not be connected or the disappearances share common evidence, suspects, locations, etc..I think this could be a huge segment of this channel.
As someone from maine- this was awesome to hear some history close to me. But also veryyyyyyyy concerning. There’s always been stories about the woods in the east but this is just different

Yesss oompa I love how a creator like you is making this kind of content now! This is one of my favorite niches and topics just in general. Keep making stuff like this!
I've been missing for 18 years. I went into the kitchen cupboard and haven't made it out yet😓
Edit: seriously someone please help me out it's cramped
Never expected you to do a missing 411 episode, awesome!!
oompa loompa never stops making filling me with joy and other stuff
Always makes me interested in these conspiracy type vids 😮😮
Women are the physical manifestation of sensory perception. And in the same sense that when your senses are overloaded in any particular way (whether they’re overloaded with pleasure or overloaded with pain), if your senses keep receiving that same stimulus over and over, you are not going to have as strong of a reaction to that same stimulus.
I really really really want more spooky skeletons pod I watch it almost every night
I love this mini series dog, you legit are getting better and better and terms of content and everything bro respect
Honestly Oompa is my favorite person who’s discussed missing 411, he’s just so smart
Can’t wait for another banger from oompaville.

I would enjoy being bangered by oomp.

Gee, I wonder if David didn't include some of the data because it takes away from the narrative he wants to paint...
@@Bigarus He hasn't filed a FOIA in over 10 years. And even then it was only about 30 out of the how many cases he's capitalized on.
You should totally make more of this stuff. It’s the best kind of content.
if you started making videos like "explore with us" along with the regular content, that would be the COOLEST
Are you a EWU crew?? I started watching them back when Bob and Emma were out exploring ghost towns and abandoned buildings 😅 I still watch their stuff now, just not as regularly because I don't enjoy the narrations as much. But definitely recommend thier channel/s
You'll ethier understand me or you won't 😂😂
@@KarleeM76 my girlfriend agrees with you INTENTLY! Sadly she’s only recently brought /me/ onto the EWU crew, but I’m making my way back into the archives!! I love them and that kind of content now🙊
Never ever did I expect Oompaville to do a Missing 411 video!
I do want you to do more spooky or mysterious stuff! Feed us!
I really love/loved the Spooky Skeletons Podcast, and I was sad to see it not come back, but seeing this reminds me of it a lot, and I love it!
Why are there so many missing people?. I remember there was this kid who went missing then when he was found he said he wasn't missing in the first place then he went missing again and I think he said he wasn't missing again or somthing

@@InstagramUser420we get it, you cannot experience the physical touch of a female, so how about you go touch some grass
I am LOVING these missing persons/true crime uploads! So fascinating tbh
I’m an audience plant by Oompaville to sell more Sourboyz even though they’re sold out.
I don’t even get paid to do this
He just ask me to (subliminally) and I said yes
I discovered Oopmy from Nikacado
I just want some candy bros
Someone make a review of sour boys for me
I loved that Ad 😂😂😂😂. Sold. And the missing 411 stories are all so interesting and perplexing always entertaining
can we appreciate the time and effort oompsy takes out of his day to fill us up with sweet, sweet, and delicious information
Lore Lodge covers a lot of there cases. Would be awesome to see a collab!
Day 453 of asking for full video footcam
For a price that is
💀
🤡
Can't be real
He give in yet?
Can agree Fum is really bomb, I haven't craved smoking in a while, I fidget with the bottom all the time and focus better
Paulidies is exaggerating the cases here and there unfortunately and it makes the whole 411 story less credible!
I think critically about most stories people write.
I love this type of context from Oompa too! The editing is so talented too, as expected TARA!!
Stop with the vape ads oomp. You know your audience is young. Don’t try and get them into that shjt.
Not vapes there to help with vape addiction there is no nic
You def gotta do more of these 411 episodes!! Fit your style and the channel well. Not only that you can do different takes on certain cases like this episode being cases that may have explainable reasons for that person missing or their “odd” behaviors after being found. Then do ones that are the most odd and unexplained. Ones that may or may not be connected or the disappearances share common evidence, suspects, locations, etc..I think this could be a huge segment of this channel.
vape ad is crazy
It's not really a vape ad.
Thanks fore the vido, Oomple!
missing 9/11 what happened to the towers?
thats interesting
As a Maine resident I appreciate the Maine stories! Thanks Oompaville ❤
Only TH-camr I can watch and feel well educated
What about tutorial videos.
@@Psilomuscimol I guess you are right
Obsessed with these rabbit hole videos, would love to see more! well done x
You don't have to make a thumbnail like that Oompa. We all love you, don't sacrifice self respect for clicks. You're doing really well already.
Bro he's always had ridiculous thumbnails
its ironic lol
Loved when Mr Ballen covered some of these stories. So interesting
where is the wendigoon and oompa collab at. i would genuinely love you and wendigoon doing a video together about some
scary/unsettling topic
You should most definitely cover more cases! Content is awesome as always, Oompa!
As someone from maine- this was awesome to hear some history close to me. But also veryyyyyyyy concerning. There’s always been stories about the woods in the east but this is just different
Imagine having to sleep in a LeafyWasHere themed bed. Most terrifying part of that case
Goes hard definitely wanna see more
Love the way oompa tells stories
MORE please, even if it's not fully bringing back the podcast, more of these videos would be amazing.
More of these PLEASE!!! ❤❤❤
Oompa you enjoy reading, i highly suggest you read the books. It really really puts things into perspective in a way all vidoes fail to do. Id be happy to give you my copies of the books.
i’m so here for this. need a distraction during my breakup 🙃
please do more of the 411 cases these are so interesting
