  • In this video we are looking at our new homemade Dungeon Generator cards in a catacomb for Advanced Heroquest, based on the White Dwarf Scénario “The Eyes of Chaos”, discussing why and how we made them.

      @@jugsjapansunitedgamingsociety plus it stops the dreaded Furry Paw of a Fur Beast occurring when rolling for dungeon creation 🤣. Other dice rolling in the game there is no escape from the paw.

    Curious. I made my own d12 labels for original dungeons roughly close to the original odds… it isn’t perfect but maybe I’ll see if the odds in these tables work a bit better

    Great job!! Did you consider a deck for ....furniture? In original AHQ rules there is a reference to HQ furnitures. Wondering how you would mange this.

      Ah yes, I know the tables in the AHQ book you’re referring to. Actually that’s a very good idea! I’ll review it and see what we can come up with

    Top notch stuff as usual 😊👍. There is on question I do have I fancy using a Keeper of Secrets in AHQ but unsure on how to get or do the stats lines required. I got the original mini still my fav version of the Greater Daemon

      It is a fantastic mini, we wholeheartedly agree. Well, that is one particular creature we do want to do stats/rules for as it happens, keep an eye on this space. It’s one of the trickier ones, as the daemonette stats are well over powered in AHQ, almost as if it is a greater daemon so I think daemonettes need to be powered down and the KOS to take a slightly buffed version of its statline.

      @@jugsjapansunitedgamingsociety that's amazing as I love your work and the support you give this underrated game. I saw the Daemonettes stats and 5 wounds I think it is seems very low for a creature so powerful as a KOS. Even the Bloodthirster only has 5 wounds In the original AHQ Bestiary which I thought was odd seeing it has chaos armour and known to be very tough to take down. Maybe I'm missing something lol.

      @matthewelzenbeck4025 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      A Bloodthirster has invulnerable in which if you hit, one of your wounds dice must be a twelve for any of the wounds to be dealt. Just look up invulnerable in the rulebook for a better understanding.

      @@Mark-nh2hs what we have done for models with WFB stats but none in AHQ is go back to the contemporary rules (which would be the Realm of Chaos books in this case) and convert over the rules from that. I looked at lots and lots and lots of WFB MONSTER stats and their AHQ versions and derived a set of empirical conversion rules. I use these as a start, then they have some race specific bonuses added and finally I apply the appropriate special rules, then this gives a useable Statline and points value for AHQ. I’ll definitely get round to this for the KOS now, you’ve got me inspired 😉

    These look great. I'm a HQ player but recently bought a copy of AHQ and I'm not sure my party will be keen on the constant dice rolls. Would you be kind enough to share a link to your original cards for the base game?

    can this beautiful deck be used for the regular dungeons by removing the tomb cards? or do i need to make the old cards too?

    • @jugsjapansunitedgamingsociety
      @jugsjapansunitedgamingsociety  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you. Well, you could simply take out the tomb cards or simply treat them as regular rooms, just don’t place a coffin in it, when you pull them. I’d probably favour the latter approach to keep the probabilities
