    I would really like to know your thoughts on the Roly LaserMATIC Mk2. Seems to be favored far over the S1.

      I will add it to my long list to review! I really prefer the S1's pinpoint positioning system vs a camera, which the Roly has. I think the Roly seems most like the WeCreat Vision, which is a good machine it's just not my favorite. But of course, everyone's milage may vary when it comes to what they want in a laser :)

    Hi! Thank you for this thorough video. I am a hobbyist crafter who is starting a small business. I love my Cricut machines but want to explore wood and acrylic crafts. My craft area is a small space that doubles as a guest bedroom. I am tech savvy and don't think the learning curve will be too steep. Would you recommend the Vista, Vision, or M1 Ultra? I want something that can grow with me and my business. Thank you for your thoughts!

      I think overall I would go with the M1 Ultra. I think it's probably the best of those three!

    Thank you so much for providing this video. Helpful and timely (since the WeCreate sale is on right now).

    Thanks for all the info! I would love to see the spreadsheet you said you were going to make with the comparisons of the machines. Any idea when you’ll have that available????

    Did the M1 Ultra replace the Cricut for you?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely not. It's just not nearly as fast or easy as my Cricut machines.

    Amazing review, thank you. Do you find the inability to engrave clear acrylic or glass is an issue with the diode machines? I understand CO2 lasers can but they are expensive. Any thought?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on what you want to make! You definitely can’t do it so if you want to you have to get a CO2 even though they are more expensive. I do have a CO2 and use it for projects that my diodes can’t do.

    Where can I find out the thickness of the material (wood, acrylic, leather) that the WeCreate Vista can cut. The bundled products with the machine have 0.05" acrylic and 1/8" plywood. The Houston Acrylics have 1/8" products for sale. Do you think the Houston Acrylics will work in the Vista?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Houston has a helpful section on their website that has the acrylic they’ve been able to cut with a diode: houstonacrylic.com/collections/diode-tested-materials?srsltid=AfmBOorPPVzgsPXuhRQ_UXnkkOfHOsPunadHCZLa4A4vQCKu3lBzHRnP this is a helpful link for all of the lasers! :)

    I have used the Xtool M1 (10 watt) for several years and really love it but would really like something a bit faster. I cut mainly 3mm wood. Do you think upgrading to the 40watt makes a big difference in speed? I thought I wanted a Wecreate Vision 40w but after watching your video, I am going to research the S1 some more. But I may not bother with an upgrade if the difference in wattage isn't significant. Any thoughts?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The higher wattage will definitely cut a bit faster. I would definitely recommend the S1 over the WeCreate. It's my most-used laser, so far!

    Hey, I have been banging my head over which laser to buy. I don't sell my projects, I just enjoy making and giving to family and friends. I don't have a lot of space and want to know if all lasers have to have vent system with them.

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All of them come with a vent pipe but none of them come with a filter. You can use a window if you don't want to buy a filter :)

      You can cut MDF with any of these machines.

    believe that in one of your videos on the Vista, you recommended a few suppliers for blanks and supplies. Huston Acrylic and another wood supplier. Could you please let me know the wood supplier that you use for cutting boards, etc.Thank you

    I’m looking for a laser that will cut metal. Do any of these do that or do I need a professional machine?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You'll need a much more expensive fiber laser. None of these will even engrave metal that doesn't have a special coating on them.

    I am really struggling here to decide which to buy. I understand that you can get the 2W Infrared for the WeCreat Vision but you cannot change it out or add the 2W Infrared on the M1 Ultra? If that's the case, why would someone chose the M1 Ultra over the WeCreat Vision? That along with the auto leveling riser on the WeCreat Vision, seems the only choice is to get the WeCreat Vision, but am I wrong?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff
      @HeyLetsMakeStuff  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is no IR module for the M1 Ultra, but a lot of crafters don't want to do jewelry or other metal engraving so it's not something they are looking at. :)

    Can 1w lasers pop a ballon from 20 meters distances?

  • @djbneozen
    @djbneozen 5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    The M1 Ultra says the 20watt will cut 10mm. Which is actually almost 1/2 an inch (.038) to be more accurate.
    Also nothing works with a Glowforge without an Internet connection & the base software is useless. You need a subscription (like $290 a year up front or $50 a month) to do anything reasonable. After that Glowforge owns your designs. Yep. Look up the lawsuits.
    Xtool M1 Ultra is the better choice if Glowforge is going to be considered at all.

    WeCreat Vista is $699

      It’s $699 now, on presale. But I wanted to give the full price so that my video would reflect that after the presale. That’s why I said to always check for their sales. ☺️
