    Amazing that she got to review the statements. I've known some Indian women to be particularly viscious in workplaces. One women tried to hit me because I was having lunch with an Indian man colleague who she had attempted to have an affair with. She spread all sorts of rumours about me!

    I’ve never heard of Lali before, but she is evidently articulate, intelligent and funny! Love how open minded she is. Many British born Asians don’t embrace their “homeland” and culture the way she has embraced a foreign land.
    Also love seeing how you have grown as a presenter since starting your series Bhai. You are a natural mA! Always in awe at how you came to the UK from Bangladesh at age 11 not knowing any English to starting a successful business from nothing!

      I think that came across quite badly, i just had some pressing points on my mind and wanted to discuss the Gaza situation later on, but in the end the discussion didn’t get far, I don’t sit on the fence about Gaza. I think what Israeli forces are doing is disgusting, and seeing what is happening is heartbreaking. Why they couldn’t just get undercover people and use well thought out intelligence to rid of Hamas instead of blinding bombing civilians and hospitals I do not know. ☹️

      @LondonkiLali hi lauren ..ji is also used by bengalis..most of the muslims bangladeshiz that you have come across in bricklane are originally from sylhet..have you heard of sylhet? Yes sylhet shares a border with Karimganj it was part of sylhet Bangladesh..most of north east india..i was born in uk but ny grandpa was born in karimganj before partition than he immigrated to Bangladesh during 1947..anyway even Bengal region is diverse..people in calcutta west bengal are more similiar to people from Dhaka Bangladesh they speak standard bengali..the rest of North eastern bengal like assam/shilong/silchar speak the same dialect and culture as sylhetis from northern Bangladesh. I have met indian sylhetis both hindus and muslim and our culture is one and the same.
      So i always find it funny when people ask what is the difference between india Bangladesh culture? India is like a subcontinent than a country dont you think..it varies from region to region.
      People from Bangladesh and west bengal india are more similiar by dna and culture than say an indian gujrati and a bengali from west bengal.
      This maybe similiar for punjabis in Pakistan and india .
      Also do you know thousands of sylhetis muslim bengali from bengal now modern day Bangladesh served and fought for great Britain in the first and second world war? Yup two were my great muslim uncle were from bengal now Bangladesh. .they were lascars (seamen)initially following the spice trade ..both gave up their lives and were killed by nazi bombs.also Bangladesh is a secularism country do you know there are transgender hijra nosque ?
      Its fairly secular muslim country and womens rights and quality have improved .do you know Bangladesh has so many secular holidays that they celebrate in pomp and it has such rich culture,mythology crafts..
      THE bangladeshis you met in bricklane are very different to Bangladeshis in dhaka. I would say british bangladeshis are more conservative than the bangladeshis in Bangladesh . Would you like to meet up or connect first so i can teach you more about my beautiful heritage?
      Ps sorry for the long message xx

    I enjoyed listening to lalli. The Indian culture is so diverse and interesting. I spent a couple of months in the northeastern hills. The people's that make up India are fascinating. Sadly political polarisation is spreading world wide. But it is most noticeable in the west. Micro agressions have been implanted in the minds of the new generations to propel us apart. The marxist destroyers of cohesive society's have been in the universities for the last 30 years. It a breath of fresh air to hear blondie, buck the new normal, and embrace others regardless of politics.

    Very hypocritical for Kazi saying that Muslims are persecuted in India when Hindus are persecuted in Muslim countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan. Hindus have also been ethnic cleansed by Islamic terrorists in Kashmir, where Kashmiri Hindus are the indigenous people in Kashmir, who have been living in Kashmir before the religion of Islam existed. Bangladesh or Bengal was once majority Hindu before the Muslims invaded. Even your ancestors Kazi were Hindus.

    Cool chats, I love it ...but, in most "Muslim" countries, not in the Western world...women are not allowed in the mosque. Take African Muslim countries it is exactly the same, even if they are not Sharia based legal system countries like Saudi.

    • @LondonkiLali
      @LondonkiLali 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think this is so sad because surely a masjid / mosque should be for everyone who wants to worship/ learn about Islam. The idea that women should be restricted to the home is archaic. I’ve found my mosque visits in the U.K. to be an enriching experience 😊

    I’m angered that she was so reluctant to condemn the plight against the Palestine just so that she preserves face with her far right Hindu following. You don’t need to be an expert on the matter to realise that the massacre of over 1% of the population in 6 months, with the overwhelming fatalities constituting being women and children, unprecedented deaths to journalists and aid workers, you just have to be human with a heart.

    • @LondonkiLali

      I do condemn it, I think this just didn’t come across well cos I had other things on my mind and wanted to chat about other things that were in my head. I didn’t want to focus on this cos I felt like it was a not a necessary question, most British people (including myself) are against what Israel is doing but unfortunately our governments hands seem to be tied with alliance with America.

    • @samkev5246
      @samkev5246 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Hanafi madhab is not a school of thought that is rigorously followed during a stationary point in time. Its quite expansive with time and place.
      Its not limited to Deoband or subcontenient a few hundreds of years ago. Its a school that accepts evolutionary contexts over time and place. The school is very keen to stop a very strict line of reasoning which may otherwise cause harm consequentially, its otherwise known as istihsan.
