Agree. The mexican gangsters were aware that those gringos cannot handle their weapons (the man in the exact middle of the clip aiming with the open chamber) so they walk out of the car to teach them how to properly operate the their weapons. "Compas" don't mean "en paz/in peace" in Mexico Compa is actually a way of calling someone, it is usually used to refer to close friends like the word "Carnal"
Let me ask, what was your take on the last scene in the sequel? You see the one who shot Benecio in the face and left him for dead walking through the mall food court with all these tattoos and elevated cartel status, but he was surprised to see him alive in the office in the back. The kid was terrified, and Benecio said to him, "So you wanna be a Sicario, huh?" What do you think he did to the kid?? She's literally one of the challenges and was needed for the story to give us an idea of the real antagonists or protagonists. That's the entire point of the movie.
She played her part well. The whole point of her character was that she played by the rules and all the others didn’t. It’s like what Benicio said, it’s a land of wolves and she was no wolf.
Dude I remember watching this movie for the first time. It’s amazing but it does such a good job at keeping you on edge, I was stressed as fuck the entire movie.
Great scene . My only issue is Emily Blunt's character. This is a clearly justified shooting. Old Boy is a cartel member and he draws down on American forces under DOJ sanction supervised by an FBI agent. And she's acting like they did something wrong.
my ONLY critique of this scene is the dude taking his trigger hand to hold the door. You use your non-trigger hand, while keeping trigger hand on trigger
