Excellent review. That is a good idea with the peanut butter! I just had a British menu 5, it was pretty good. Brit's do like a lot of drinks in their mre's. Keep up the great work. I don't know where you are from, but I'm from California. Your videos are doing great.❤😎
@@WearyWolfAdventures Just me, but I like tea first thing, a coffee with each meal, and a hot chocolate last thing. Medicinal brandy works really well with hot chocolate in the evening!
working on it... looking to purchase a mic to improve the situation.... as a new channel and fresh to making content I have been relying on just my phone so far.
In Poland, these rations cost 10 Euro. Ukrainians sell them in whole pallets. Polish, British and American rations from aid for their army. There is so much of it and so cheap that it is more profitable to buy rations from Ukrainians than to buy food in a store.
that's incredible! it's very expensive to purchase them in the uk! I would love to review Polish and American rations! but they are very costly in the uk 😬
The MRE's are pretty good but the nut products are normally rank, unless its the BBQ types. Peanuts are always under-roasted and the Fruit and Nut mix is normally very lightly blanched. These end up with an unusual taste through storage. I can't imagine what our forces think of these, normally we are throw them out when stripping MRE's down for hikes. Too plain and would think less of a moral booster as a snack item.
That Hunters is one of my favourites out when it's freezing. Forgive my ignorance, I may have missed it, but where's the ration heater in that pack? Great video, I'm a new sub.
thanks so much for the sub! it doesn't have a ration heater! it's either heat it on a stove in a mess tin, for example, or boil in the bag.. or cold 😬. I opt to boil in the packet when at home but have a mess tin and gas stove when out camping, etc. I'm glad you like the hunters chicken 😀 just wasn't my thing, I guess.
@@WearyWolfAdventures Cheers for the reply!! WOW!!! No ration heater???? You should be kicking a stink up at that in future posts which I'll be watching! How can you warm it up under field positions and conditions???? A warm meal in freezing temperatures???? See.....I picked up on that! PS. you gotta try the 'all day breakfast' MRE. That's pretty awesome tasting! Regards.....and Peace!
it's standard across the British 24-hour rations, I have reviewed the French 24-hour rations, and it comes with a heater to cook the main meals (in tins), which are delicious. I'm a big fan of the all-day breakfast 😋 I'm reviewing a vegetarian 24-hour ration today, and this morning, it had a vegetarian all-day breakfast! just as tasty, in my opinion. the cold climate 24-hour rations have freeze dried meals and no ration heater either !
That's a cool knife I never thought of putting peanut butter into porridge or what we here in the states call oatmeal I love peanut butter so I'm going to give it a try
I'm not a big fan of porridge, but swirling a little peanut butter and cocao powder, mashed banana or jam through it certainly elevates it to a breakfast worth having imo.
@@sevatarlives185 now that you mention cocoa powder I think I would definitely try that and the peanut butter together I love peanut butter cups so I’m sure that’s what it’ll probably taste like 👍🏾
Oh my gosh, you’re just making a mess of things…. We buy books sent to school and what do you do you mix peanut butter in your porridge (good idea) and then you … drop porridge on the table my God😂😂😂😂🥴. Just kidding..
Very nice!! Love those ORPs! Great menu items and another great video!! Thanks for sharing!
thank you, big fan of the peach iced tea 😃

I'm from Hampshire in the uk. thanks so much for your support and kind words.
Almost perfect. Would prefer an extra coffee, and also a tube of condensed milk as in the Aussie ration, but otherwise 10 out of 10.
would have been 2 coffee, but I doubled up on the breakfast 😅

👍 I'm a coffee all morning...occasionally a tea in the evening... or rum 😋
@@WearyWolfAdventures I'm ex army, you must be ex navy!
nah, not ex forces bud, got into mre's through hiking and wilderness camping... with a bit of prepping chucked in. Thank you for your service
I enjoy watching you open these mres have you had any American ones?
Not yet. I have some ready to review, I'm reallym looking forward to trying them
You need to fix your audio of your you tube vidieos.
Because some of the audince can’t hear you talk on your you tube vidioes.

I agree with the bbq ones being the best flavour. when hiking, I like the Graze chilli and lime nuts 😋 full of flavour

Oh nice idea! Going to add some chocolate powder in aswell next time! Thanks
mre-uk is solid imo, customer service seems bang on and they throw in random free extras sometimes lol
yeah, I totally agree, I currently use mre-uk for all my mre purchases, and they always chuck in freebies.
breakfast looked a little runny
I definitely added to much water 💧 lessons were learned 😅
