Beautiful, nostalgic and sad. Our Liverool has changed so much, not all of it for the better.

Lovely pictures. I lived in Livingston Drive in the 1970s. Brought some great memories back - even if most of the pictures are a lot older than my time there.
The Fairy Glen is the watercourse immediately below The Dell Bridge, near the Queens Drive roundabout though, not the watercourse that comes out of The Grotto and had The Jolly Roger in it.

Bold street and Lord street have hardly changed. Clayton Square and Central Station are completely unrecognisable.

As Scouse kids we had the reputation of being 'larrikins' but there was no knifing or shooting people then....so sad to see what has become of modern working class areas in most cities now! These photos are strong reminders of the true communities we had then..... caught 'being naughty' as a kid on the streets then and anyone could give you a clip around the ear and your parents knew about it by the time you got home!

Someone has already remarked that a poster in Penny Lane---at 2.05 refer's to the Titanic sinking. Thought it best to bring it to the fore again, as nobody else seems to have noticed it. Great images.

wow this was really nostalgic for me.. especially St. Cleopas church where I and my children were christened, and the school where my mum went. Also, Beloe Street in 1951.. seeing Blackledges the cake shop where my nan used to go. I also noticed on the posters outside the shop in Penny Lane was one saying 'Titanic sinks' I really enjoyed it.

What a beautiful creation Bravo and the music so evocative. Only Liverpool could produce such a wonderful video. Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams the violinist sounds like Tasmin Little? Thank you so much.
