Part of me thinks Johnny Ace brought them up as Gemyni just to piss off Cornette who he was feuding with at the time.

They were the Gymini with Simon Dean on Smackdown, after Jim kicked them from OVW they got switched to Deep South Wrestling WWE's other developmental at the time were they were known as The Regulators, they were on TV till one of them got injured then they got sent back to DSW were they remained till they got released in 2007.
Apparently they are out of wrestling and both now work as bouncers at the 2001 Space Odyssey club in Tampa, Florida.

Yes! I do remember these guys on SmackDown, like Jim said, they were on there as the Gyminis. A tag team managed by Simon Dean. It seemed like they were on TV for a few weeks and they were gone

@@erickessler7105 They were in a battle royal to determine who would qualify for the money in the bank ladder match at WrestleMania 22. Bobby Lashley won the battle royal. Also they did defeat Paul Burchill & William Regal in a tag match.

How could you say he was too hard on them? They did one of the dumbest things possible, despite claiming to have been in the business for years.
It doesn’t matter if they’ve had other good matches- either before or since; Cornette was simply reacting to the dumb shit he saw them do, in front of him, on his show.
That’s all he had to go off.
If they’d been completely untrained, and that was the first time they’d been in a ring, in front of people, he’d have probably reacted differently to their fuck up; he’d still have been pissed at them, because it was an obviously stupid thing to do, but he more than likely wouldn’t have permanently banned them from OVW, & at least given them a chance to redeem themselves- probably on spot shows, rather than TV, so they could practice.
But they shot themselves in the foot, by claiming to have been in the business for 7 years, yet couldn’t perform the simplest of finishes; and the fact that, since then, they haven’t exactly set the wrestling world on fire, is pretty good confirmation that they weren’t the best wrestlers in world.
It’s not like the wrestling world lost out on the next big thing.

@@ThisCharmingMan1984 yes not saying they would have set the wrestling world on fire but they were better than he made them out to be.
