In 1998 Mike and Rich began forming the Reach the Beach Relay. It was created during a time without smartphones, Google Maps, and social media. At the time, Reach The Beach was the only 200 mile running relay on the East Coast.
Our goal was to create an event that offered an exceptional experience to the runners and the communities that took part in it. It still is.
Fast forward to today and it’s remarkable that the foundation we built is still strong.
