‘Biggest stuff up’: Donald Trump’s assassination attempt was a failure by Secret Service

- Sky News host James Macpherson says the failure to protect Donald Trump from being shot was the “biggest stuff up” by the Secret Service.
Mr Macpherson said the Secret Service Director has been giving out “ridiculous excuses” for how it was able to happen.
The Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle said in an interview that the reason for the shooter's position not being secured was because the building had a ‘sloped roof’.
Everybody knows she is involved.
The roof is a safety hazard for her officers so the safety of DJT didn't matter! Does she think we are so stupid?

Let's not call this intentional event a "stuff up" or mistake, as it HAD to be intentional. So many questions: Why did they ignore the crowd telling them there was a man WITH A RIFLE on a roof? Why didn't the counter snipers take him out? Why didn't the police take him out? WHY was the roof unsecured? WHY the heck didn't they get Trump off the stage for the 2+ minutes they knew of this threat? Say the snipers didn't KNOW the guy had a rifle--why wasn't Trump scrambled off the stage with this threat? Nah, this was a government condoned, if not perpetrated assassination attempt.
30 minutes. They had spotted him prior to that and were “looking for him”. Even took a picture of him. Yet they let him go on stage.

Funny thing is, my dad was trained in the 60s. He could have disabled that rifle with old school equipment. They have way better scopes. They could have disabled the shooter and his rifle without killing him.

I never saw a roof sloped only at the peak. That roof is what I would call, as a builder, almost flat. If it was sloped at the peak just back down a bit so it’s not sloped.
There was a completely accidentally captured bullet streak photographed as it passes Donald's ear. There's a few problems with that photo.
First, the line of travel would have hit Trump's lower ear, not the upper ear. Trump's hand was on the podium for the first shot, and his hand is in motion in the bullet streak photo, so it had to be at least the 2nd shot. On a VERY close trajectory to the first shot. Mr Crooks had neither the skill nor the equipment for a minute of angle rapid fire following shot. He was unable to hold minute of bleacher accuracy, and had been rejected by the school rifle team. His rifle also was not equipped with a telescopic sight, but only a non magnifying red dot. Competition accuracy at 130 metres is not achieved by such equipment on a good day, much lessed in a supposedly rushed timeline.
Lastly, the line of flight indicated by the blurred bullet photograph is almost perfectly parallel to the top edge of the podium, which would indicate a source from the glass company's rear parking lot area, not Mr. Crooks location. When the facts, as presented, do not add up, people are prone to looking much more deeply into them for explanations that do add up.

One question I have about the photo of the bullet flight. I'm having a hard time believing it was actually the bullet streak, but instead, the photographer was able to capture the wind displacement caused by the bullet. I don't know the caliber of rifle used, nor its barrel length. So, just for conversational purposes, say it was a 5.56, with an 18" barrel, 55 gr bullet. That would put the muzzle velocity in the close neighborhood of 3,200 fps. Is a handheld, digital camera capable of catching those speeds? Be well. Stay safe.

@@rkf2746 If the camera view was level with the focus of the shot you could judge the angle of the "lower part of the ear". The skill part ignores that lucky shots occur and 7 of them missed entirely. Then the "almost perfectly parallel" part where 3 inches of a trajectory of a 150 yard path, from a camera at an angle (off to the side or down below) is just bias confirmation. The "almost" part could be three feet or more at the other end of your trajectory. The "Trump would only move his hand if he was being shot at" premise is a slim supposition to base the "follow-up shot" part. You ignore math, geometry, camera angles and the fact that we have seen Trump move his arms in the absence of any threats on many occasions Either it occurred, it was something other than a projectile or the camera had a flaw. Those are the 3 most likely scenarios. Even 2 of those are highly improbable while the evidence just points out that you don't know how far away the camera was or at what elevation but chose to judge the entirety of the triangle (A being the shooter, B being Trump and C being the photographer) by 3 inches from an unknown angle. What was the precise elevation of the muzzle? Was the projectile affected by wind (snipers routinely factor that in)? Why are you suggesting that the near miss was intentional (he didn't have the skill or equipment to make that shot) when the other 7 went wild and even hitting those in the bleachers (NOT in between A and B but off to the side of them)?
