you can take the glow plug controller plug off… there is a clip under the wires and just pull back
There’s no way to get torque wrenche in there so hoping it’s tight enough?
2004 chevy silverado 2500hd duramax, I just replaced my fuel pressure regulator when in park no surges good idle, but while in gear(drive) like at a stop light i get a rough idle like its not getting enough fuel or something else??? Wondering if this plug could be my issue?? I installed new filter, and recently put in new fuel sending unit .
That’s pretty what my issue was that why I did this plug and it worked. You could also try some hot shots first. Use 2oz of EDT and 2oz of LX4 every fill up for 8 fill ups then use edt every fill up after that. I have a 10% off code for them you can use :dmaxlbz_david 👍

So at the 3 minute mark when you talk about taking off the factory fuel valve, did you actually break it? We had attempted to take it off on my 09 LMM, and it seemed like we were going to break the case that it was plugged into, so we stopped. If you broke it, was it part of the valve that broke, or do you mean that it broke loose. Thanks!!
Definitely broke her loose! I did not break the rail. It’s just on there tight as a son of a **** lol I’d be absolutely shocked if you cracked the actual fuel rail taking this out 👍
I hooked up a ratchet strap(hook) to the wrench and the other end to my wheel and put torque on the strap and it came loose fairly easy. It’s easier if you have 2 persons doing it.

Hey man any tips for breaking free the stock valve? Ive soaked it in penetrating oil and 3 of has have tried breaming this thing free and it wont budge. Obviously cant fit a ratchet in there, just curious if you have any ideas or tips? Over an hour into trying to break it fre and we cant get it to budge in the slightest
So, I know some people have hooked a ratchet strap to the wheel and then connected it to the wrench and tried it that way. You could also try the double wrench trick, but I don’t think you have enough room for that.

What exactly do you have going on little history would be great 👍 another fuel fix is to try the ppe ported fuel rail fitting drivers side only.
@@DIYDiesel I have an 06 lbz completely stock I just installed the fuel plug about and hour ago and when I floor it , it does the same thing that it would always do witch Is it will not let me pass 3k RPMs and will throw the check engine light
@@Dtailzz run some hotshots diesel extreme through it, and do that ppe ported fuel rail fitting would be your next two cheaper options. Also throw a fresh fuel filter in before you add the diesel extreme.

@@Dtailzz will it solve it not 100% sure, but it’s an affordable start. Also you will be improving that fuel rail at the same time. What code are you getting?
stranded?? dude ive got 245k on my LLY only time it left me stranded is when #2-7 injector harness needed to be icepick... bought the truck in 2008, you do the math... you dont need any of this stuff... PPE and the likes are in business to sell parts, UNNECESSARY PARTS AT THAT
