Got a 07 5.9 I’ve been trying to get back on the road after sitting for a few years with oil in coolant, it sat at a shop to get diagnosed for 8 months and they didn’t do crap so a friend helped changed the oil cooler drove it a few weeks was fine and now it’s opposite coolant in oil so gotta find a shop that won’t bs and lie to figure out exactly what’s wrong with it because I’m a parts changer not a mechanic 🤣
@@jonathangarzon2798 so far the only thing changed was the oil cooler and did good then now it’s opposite lol I just lost interest in fixing it after it sitting so long but trying to find somebody that knows more around here that will fix the dang thing I kinda miss driving it lol
Well, if you delete it and put a 0 horse tune on it, it can be pretty reliable. My 2012 hotshot rig has 446K on it. Once you lose the EGR and DPF, you can gain about 40-50 hp just by letting it breathe better.

Sounds like a head gasket
If the head gasket and bolts/studs were replaced new both times then you need the block and heads resurfaced

Blown head gasket, check the freeze plugs under the valve cover
I got a 06 I swap a 6.7 in with 03 injectors 5.9 harness, and ECU
Can I put a 6.7 off of a 2015 ram 5500 in my 2003 ram 3500 with a 48re?
