I'm a Wealth Manager and I love this channel. These two give the real deal about building wealth and they have been very transparent in their journey. They also don't make wealth building seem easy, overnight or instant, or without it's fair share of mistakes and hard work. I wish more content creators on TH-cam were this real and transparent about their experiences so that people could plan accurately for their own journey. Thank you for creating good and authentic content
Love this. I've been saying for years that if someone becomes bad because of money. It's because now they have the resources and power to be their true self. I also agree that money won't make you happy completely but I do think it takes away a lot of stress. A few years ago, I was dirt poor and used to wake up with panic attacks at night thinking about how if something happened to me I'd be in trouble. Now a days I know whatever problem comes. I can take care of it
Since we met last year in Lisbon, I have moved abroad to Panama. I am still following your advice. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
Thank you for saying the "quiet" part out loud! The only people that say "money doesn't buy happiness" are billionaires or people born into wealth. Money can solve so many people's problems (stress from paying bills, utilities, medical bills, student loan debt, car debt, affording grocerties, etc...). Money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure can buy a less stressful and happier life where your basic needs are met.
i the oldest and "good with money". trying to get the younger but adult siblings to get better with their money, invest, retirement etc is "a trip" to say the least. the generational curses/myths about money are deep.
This video provides invaluable insights into the mindset and behaviors surrounding wealth and success. Understanding the truth about money is essential for breaking free from financial struggles and limitations. It's empowering to hear from millionaires who have navigated these challenges and achieved success. Truly eye-opening and motivating content!
@@OurRichJourneyGuys - following your channel for some time. Phenomenal content. Genuine, informed, transparent. You guys are the best! Just one thing @Amon - has anyone ever told you that you favor the actor / comedian Wayne Brady ( if you took off your glasses)? Even some of the mannerisms / microexpressions. I think it’s the mouth/smile especially but I just can’t NOT see it 😄
When we don't have enough money it's extremely stressful and hard to think of ways to earn or acquire more. I do think it's that stress which then can lead to relationship problems.
Excellent video and incredibly important topic. I’m so proud of you guys for making this. I hope it goes viral blessings and good health to you guys in 2024.
I am so grateful for your content and the insights and tips you willingly share. I definitely agree that money provides opportunities and necessities for so many. I wish more people understood about the energy and abundance of money and used it more to create, share it, and live the lives they desire. We didn't talk about money in my house growing up, and I had to teach myself about personal finance when I got out of law school. Thank you for your wonderful videos.
Thank you for quoting it correctly. It is so important that we keep the Bible's wisdom in Context. 1 Tim. 6:10 “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
The challenge is real but I am on my way to financial independence. Progress is slow because its difficult to let go of societal norms when all my friends love spending money they don't have. I'll get there but it might just be a grind.
Thank you for this vid. I appreciated the points you were getting across. I agree, money is important and those who use it wisely to support a good life and take care of necessities. I would challenge everyone however (and especially Americans) to not place all of your security in money or to think that the dollars that you currently own is the way to ensure absolute safety. Because, for example, the US is a debtor nation on a grand scale and the dollar could become devalued within your lifetime and that will most certainly affect your investments to some degree. How much, I don't know. The future availability of social security is another area that could change. I do think that diversifying into other areas (as you have done with real estate - smart!) makes great sense to avoid being dependent solely on US stocks or the US government (i.e., social security, medicare). Don't place your faith in the US or even any other country for that matter to meet all your financial needs and to keep you safe! The world, is constantly changing and shifting.
I LOVE MONEY ❤ and not in an Evil way at all it's Called Happy Money and understanding Money not to change myself character wise , money has to circulate just like eating and digesting , love paying bills and grateful to be able to , Saving is important also spending it
Myth number 3 - back in the days wealth had to be taken, think of nations going to war to loots other nations, think of taxes, it’s all about taking. We are in an era where we have the ability to create wealth by creating value. We live in an era where it’s easy to start with nothing and become rich.
Been indocrinated many my young peers in 20s, just all focus wanting instant gratification and/or overly focus on materialistic items..vs sticking to long term dca investing to build up actual wealth ....🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
It's really all about mindset and knowledge. I feel people don't want to learn because if they get money, they will have imposter syndrome. I'll post on social media about shows on netflix and get a bunch of responses, but when I talk about wealth building...crickets
Another excellent video! I always look forward to your Sunday videos.. but what is the sign behind you DOCU 4/27/18 about? Is that something you care to share?
Thank you Sara! About the sign . . . your guess is as good as ours! LOL! We filmed the video in an Airbnb when we were doing our staycation. It was a beautiful and massive Airbnb with ocean views. Based on the house and other things that were in it, we think that the home is owned by one of the founders of DocuSign. DOCU is the ticker symbol for DocuSign and 4/27/18 is the date that it went public! :)
I snicker when I see TikTok comments about, "If I win the Lottery there will be signs." 😅 Mystery donation to an Elem school for me because I am so grateful for teachers. But also a housekeeper. 😂

I would say you have to change(mindset) in order to get money and build upon it

You can love money as much as you want. It's the lack of money that is the root of all evil.
Love this! Thank you for for continuing to make great, informative videos!
Thank you for the information as always

The bogleheads guide to investing. They mention the book in a recent video.
