This is a part of the concert “Women in Music” (2019) performed by Marcin Hałat (violin) and Michał Korzistka (piano). “Women in Music” concert was held in Austin, TX on October 20th, 2019. The concert was organized together with Austin Polish Society. The selected music gems were either created by a woman or written for a woman. Michał Korzistka performed solo musical gems of composers: Frédéric Chopin, Maria Szymanowska, Karol Szymanowski, and Jacek Glenc. Michał Korzistka and Marcin Hałat performed together the musical gems of Cécile Chaminade, Poldowski (real name: Régine Wieniawski), and Henryk Wieniawski.
