Automne has long been the most famous of these but they're ALL worth hearing and playing. Chaminade's music often has a somewhat 'salon' feeling but that's not a derogatory term - her music is beautiful and exquisite. I think it's some of the most rewarding 'Intermediate' repertoire out there, her writing is extremely pianistic!
oh wow the first one brings me back! way back in school I was at some competition, and I remember a girl playing the first one and it was just so thrilling, I thought damn that's going to be hard to compete against. but I didn't remember the composer, this is definitely the piece though!
Whilst splendid clear finger work....dynamic control or inflections aint of the topmost order...more could be done on overall dynamic control espn regard to high speed repetiive motifs....esp in Tarantella etude a key example...however the content was enjoyable..as sumfiin different
