I went to Tuscaloosa Saturday for the game. Never been there before and I was in the north zone, wearing my garnet and black. Not once was any Bama fan in my face, running their mouth. Our guys goofed up a couple of times, otherwise it would’ve been a dub. Heartbreaking as it was, I had a hoot over there and had fun with all the folks. Many Bama fans were more pissed at DeBoer, than us. Overall despite the loss, Bryant Denny stadium is awesome, and I was treated like a welcomed guest. Had beers, snacks, and enjoyed watching the game from the inside and outside seating. At least we can say we all hate Georgia!
Bama fans don’t hate other team’s fans, excluding Tennessee. Auburn is just our little brother a nuisance once every 10 years. Sure, we get frustrated with our own coaches and team. That’s simply because we have grown accustomed to playing to a standard and winning ‘ships. That tradition began well before Saban arrived and will continue now that he’s departed.
I’m glad you enjoyed your time in Tuscaloosa! Crazy game, and SC played very well. I told people before the game that Beamer-ball is still as dangerous as it’s ever been
We’ve been there before. We’ve had huge wins and heartbreaking losses. I was at the manziel game and I’ve never felt more sad and hurt. Was cold af outside but definitely didn’t take it out on a&m fans

That is the history of being a SC fan, SO so close, but damn still 1-4. Not going to watch Beamer repeated loss speech that is the same after every loss.

I'm surprised Bama fans are so surprised. You CANNOT go from arguably the GOAT to someone else and expect some kind of seamless transition or even comparable performance. Who replaced Jordan as a shooting guard when he retired (first or second time...Wizards don't count)? Who was catcher for the Reds after Johnny Bench was moved to 1B? Who was the Packers' coach right after Lombardi? We expected to fall off a little in a few years, not immediately. I just hope we don’t wait so long between greatest coaches like we did between Bryant and Saban.

Well Josh , I find this prospective interesting. I have been around Alabama football a very long time. I grew in Tuscaloosa in the 50's and in the 60's in was Bear Bryant. I can remember when I was a kid, my parents and another couple would come over to our house and sit and drink long leg Sterling beer and listen to Bama on the radio. There was no TV back then and fuss and cuss at Bama and scream when they scored and won . I am usually fairly clam during a game, but Saturday ,during the second Quarter, I told my wife ,I can't take this ,so I went out and mowed our yard. I told my please give me updates ,which she did. I stopped mowing when the battery on my mower died and went in the house with 12 seconds left. I couldn't watch that. I got to hand to you Josh, you did not blast Coach Keboer! as many have ! You looked at the game of football. The ups and the down's ,good days and bad days! What I can't figure out is why DeBoer didn't go for two when BAMA scored late in the fourth quarter. Had BAMA gotten the two point conversion, BAMA would have been up by 9 points/a 2 score differential! The game would have been OVER! DeBoer is in WAY over his head!
JP, I thought you watched college football man. Bama beat Georgia and then turned around and loss to Vandy. Is that a talent issue or a coaching problem? Bama has enough talent to beat anybody, but you can’t look at the Vandy game and tell me Bama has the right coaches.
I want to know what happened on the final play for sc bc 2 recievers didn’t even run down the field and then the one that did stopped as the ball was coming
Idk why nobody is talking about this. The tallest and fastest reciever on our team, an olympic hopeful runner, just up and quits at the 10 yard line? Something was off....
Problem is Bama just ran a red light while texting and driving their parent's Benz with them in the car. So, yes, breathe a sigh of relief that you didn't get a ticket. But, pops (fan base & admin) is about to exact his own punishment. You best not act like are owed these keys!
Coaching staff is middle of the road at best. Literally coaching 4 and 5 stars into 2 and 3 stars. Not in Kansas anymore. What gets me, no emotional attachment to getting our asses handed to us. Bama is the new Washington South.
Bama needs to stay committed to run the ball especially on first down. Even if it only nets 2 to 4 yards stay committed to run it. Bama’s best offensive drives against SC were when they ran and did not get in a hurry
Milroe is such a big part of the success of that running game though and I don’t think DeBoer wants his QB running that much. His designed runs are getting sniffed out sooner too
I don't care that Bama won, their defense has been terrible the last 3 games and the Saban drop-off is a real thing. They could still get it figured out but we can't say "there's nothing wrong with Alabama".
Bama will beat Tenn easily! Nico will not be able to convert down field. Both defense will show up, but offense will be the winner. Milroe will shine over Nico. Nico is not ready yet to take Tenn to big time.
Yeah, the most talented team in college football is just above average! As A Bama fan I'm highly pissed! If we didnt have all this talent I could understand, but we do and this is from top to bottom coaches and players the most undisciplined football team I've ever watched! Hey, Coach Deboer, it's time to stop the best friend, a hug and sweet words treatment! Get tuff, man, or get gone!!!
SC finds new and inventive ways to lose ballgames. Blocking QBs on a pick-6? Lose. Choose not to show up against Ole Miss? Lose. Recover an onside kick? Lose.
If DeBoer loses to Auburn this November, you can rest assure he will be in the hot seat. If Alabama goes to a mediocre post-season bowl game, and lose, DeBoer will be on a special list. 2025 will probably be his last season.
Sure it hurts to lose two top 10 matchups by a field goal. But what hurts more is we continue this season with some subpar performances in games that are way more winnable than this one to get blown out by the likes of misssissippi
This whole coaching staff may be in over their heads';To come to the university of Alabama " And can not stop the read option" Something we have been stopping since Tim tee Bo" and DeShaun Watson, "
I agree with this assessment. The frustrating and perplexing part is they have "great" talent. So why are they just a "good" team? It comes down to culture. There's clearly not a great culture at Alabama right now. I think they ditch the Friday Ice Cream Truck and the music at practice, and start toughening these guys up the old school way. If you're going to get paid in college, that's even more of a reason to give 110% all of the time. Not the opposite.
All of you fans gripping about the defense remember this, they are playing more freshman than almost anyone else. And the offense looks average because he’s trying not to show teams everything they can do, that’s why Williams ain’t catching much
Bama fan here. That is a horrible take. The offense wasn’t doing much because the SC defense was blowing our O-line off the ball and their DBs were providing outstanding coverage. The biggest issue is the defense sucks against the run. They are not getting pressure nor penetration. Vandy and SC were both putting on clock eating drives that kept the offense off the field.
Womack is not it. His defense is terrible for the SEC and his lack of being able to adjust is killing Bama. Debour and his west coast soft coaching isn’t suited for the SEC. Can they clean it up? Maybe. Kind of late in the season when Bama has been exposed week after week. It’s not fun being a Bama fan this season. They better get it together or this entire coaching staff will get ran out of T-Town.
There is way too much talent on this team not to be good!! THIS IS ON THE COACHING!!! We’ve got a head coach that’s too nice, (no disciplinarian), and a DC that is completely inept. This DC will cost us some game’S this season. We’re no longer an attacking D. Rarely do we blitz when we should. We’ll be bleeding orange by this time next week. NOT Bama football!!! Disappointed life long fan! JJunkin
Overall, Alabama's run defense has been underwhelming compared to Georgia's elite status, suggesting that the Crimson Tide need to make adjustments to improve their run-stopping capabilities, especially as they continue through the season
Georgia looked like a high school team that first half against bama. They weren't tackling, terrible pursuit angles. Beck threw the ball straight to them. Bama wasn't great that first half. Georgia was really just that bad.
Bama has the best fans ever, "egregious self promotion". We travel well, are only looking form a good time, are friendly ... and only blame ourselves for a loss.
Our two top backs have now played half the schedule. 38or 39 Carrie’s for one back and 31 for the other. We won’t have a back hit 100 carries. No thousand yard back, no thousand yard receiver or three thousand yard passer. Offensive line is nonexistent and skill players can’t block, get yards or get open. Defense are overrated players…three stars at best. Whoever pays NIL monies, are they paying these guys next year?
Yeah the guy from instagram here that you said don’t know nothing, don’t also forget to mention Georgia isn’t a good team neither, and like I said when Texas dog walks Georgia make sure also let your audience know Georgia isn’t a good team neither.
@@MichaelMcMillan-i9p if the QB had better IQ awareness and would quit turning the ball over. Quit running with the ball like he already won the Heisman, maybe SC would have a chance to win. SC played a better game and the QB just can't QB

If I was Bama fan I would be really really worried right now, You pretty much got handled by the two worst teams in the SEC. Tenn is going to roll Bama if things don't improve there fast.
With players like Kool-Aid McKinstry and Terrion Arnold, the Crimson Tide's defensive backs excel in coverage, athleticism, and playmaking ability. McKinstry, for instance, is widely regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in the nation, projected as a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Arnold's physicality and versatility complement McKinstry, making Alabama's secondary difficult to exploit. In terms of rankings, Alabama's secondary consistently ranks within the top 10 nationally. According to Pro Football Focus, they are one of the most efficient units, limiting opposing quarterbacks to low completion percentages and few explosive plays. Their ability to generate turnovers and make crucial stops has been a defining characteristic of their success.
thank you. people think Bama just mowed down every opponent during their championship seasons. they have issues they need to address no doubt but they do seem to have a knack for stepping up in do or die situations in the aftermath of devastating self-inflicted mistakes. that’s often a sign of a championship-caliber team - finding ways to win even at your worst and even when every bounce seems to go against you, is what separates the good teams from the great ones. they have the highest ceiling of any team in college football, and only time will tell if they properly utilize their potential. but it should come as no surprise to anyone if they do figure it out in the coming weeks and end up running the table for another title. 🤷♂️

I figure Coach Keboer feels like he on a crowded elevator with all the critics who want to have him tarred and feathered !! When we say what is wrong with Bama? what is wrong with us as a fans !!!
AMEN I SO AGREE 💯💯 YES WE AS BAMA FANS ARE WORRIED ABOUT EVERY GAME BUT IM GOING TO SCREAM ROLL TIDE ILL NEVER GIVE UP ON THEM BAMA FANS WE ARE SPOILED AND I HATE SEEING ALL THIS UPSET I STILL HAVE FAITH OUR TEAM IS GOING TO SNAP OUT OF THIS OUR DEFENSE IS YOUNG THATS ONE THING THEIR HAVING TO LEARN SS THEY GO AND OUR FRONT LINE ON OFFENSE HAS GOT TO GET THESE BLOCKS WITHOUT PENALTIES COACH DEBORE NEEDS TO SHOW THESE GUYS SOME SABAN HARD LOVE AND GET THEM BACK TO DOMANATING WE GOT A GREAT TALENTED TEAM AND I KNOW THEY CAN DO THIS WIN OR LOSE WE AS FANS HAVE GOT TO HAVE THEIR BACKS IMAGINE HOW THEY FEEL ITS TIME FOR US TO WUIT ACTING SO SPOILED AND GET WITH OUR COACHES TRY TO LIFT THEM UP INSTEAD OF TEARING THEM DOWN I STILL FEEL LIKE THIS TEAM IS GOING TO HAVE A COME BACK AN SHOCK THE WORLD LANK ROLL TIDE 🐘💪💯
💯
I want to know what happened on the final play for sc bc 2 recievers didn’t even run down the field and then the one that did stopped as the ball was coming
Idk why nobody is talking about this. The tallest and fastest reciever on our team, an olympic hopeful runner, just up and quits at the 10 yard line? Something was off....
That great coaching from Dowel Logins
His designed runs are getting sniffed out sooner too
RB’s had good success, but OC refuses to keep feeding this year
I don't care that Bama won, their defense has been terrible the last 3 games and the Saban drop-off is a real thing. They could still get it figured out but we can't say "there's nothing wrong with Alabama".
Any commentary on LSU defeating Ole Miss?
Our defense seems allergic to getting stops
I agree. I think anytime they get a stop on third or fourth down they have to report to medical tent...
Whyyyyy the prayer throw? Just get it somewhere close to field goal range
Didn’t have timeouts to stop the clock to get the kicker on the field
An ugly win is better than a ugly loss.
Milroe has 5 turnovers in the last 2 games. 3 INT 1 Fumble 1 Safety. That needs to be addressed.
He's now Kalen Dubose until things improve........
And you’re still a nobody on the internet as you have been since forever lol
Cap bama is a great team . The issue is the sec is stacked any given Saturday
Kane Womack needs fired immediately... Our defense couldn't stop a high school team's offense.
Agreed. No pass rush, can’t stop the run, young secondary getting left out to dry
South Carolina doing South Carolina things, so they lose the game. Same thing when they played LSU.
All of you fans gripping about the defense remember this, they are playing more freshman than almost anyone else. And the offense looks average because he’s trying not to show teams everything they can do, that’s why Williams ain’t catching much
LOLLOLLOL! It's time to show other teams what they can do.
There is no reason to hide anything in conference play. Gotta go for broke or start taking a lot of “L”s.
@@grimbyrne195 I totally agree 👍🏻
SEC sure looks overrated again this year.
I hate SCAR, but they could be a top 3 team in the ACC right now but will be bottom 3 in the SEC. Yet people still argue SEC is overrated
Wow did i hear the word lucky yeah that's the word for it
Has Alabama had more good quarters or bad quarters this year?
Other teams have lost and struggled to win.Why are we trashed no matter what???
Losing to Vanderbilt is unforgivable. Great teams simply don’t lose to that program.
...miss our 3-4 defense.
Ryan Williams is gonna transfer mark my word
They won't survive Tenn, LSU or Auburn...nor will they make the playoffs. In the history of Alabama football, the defense has never looked so bad.
If they get back to the basics of tackling they can get the defense off the field
I don’t know how Bama can be just mediocre with the roster they have, easily one of the best rosters in the whole country. Something isn’t right here.
Alabama had the refs save then Again .Moore was classless
Gamecocks deserve to be 5-1 right now
Blame Herrera, thier kicker. He's the reason we're 3-3.
“deserves” doesn’t really have a place in football
@@MichaelMcMillan-i9p Sellers had 3 turnovers - not the FGK. Seriously, seek mental help.
@@MichaelMcMillan-i9p if the QB had better IQ awareness and would quit turning the ball over. Quit running with the ball like he already won the Heisman, maybe SC would have a chance to win. SC played a better game and the QB just can't QB
um we are 1-4 in SEC and havent beat anyone really other than Kentucky.
Can we talk about how SC blew it?
Our defense is trash ! We lead 14or greater to for the 3rd straight week ! Our Bama coach still has admitted his pac 10 coaching style is week in the sec defensive wise the DC of our Bama is trash out defense is one of worse in the sec I told all Bama football this over the past three weeks! Me fire the defense co ordinator now while we can turn out defense back dominant
Yeehaw meemaw
Gamecocks did pretty good, but still fell to 1-4 in SEC, Looks like beating Clemson is only thing left to look forward to. If I was Bama fan I would be really really worried right now, You pretty much got handled by the two worst teams in the SEC. Tenn is going to roll Bama if things don't improve there fast.
Roll Tide a win is a win
9-3 is a good season for bama.
@@ryanflanagan8793 nope
SC should have won
South Carolina beat themselves
Horrible angles, incredibly poor tackling, and no emotion is killing Bama.
Kool-Aid and Arnold are already in the league... need to update your facts my guy
This is the team that has always been a measure of mediocrity.
We will lose to TENN. LSU, Okla, and auburn.
Bama has major problems!
SC doesn’t turn ball I’ve they may have gotten it
Alabama's defense is terrible and apparently incapable of making any adjustments. Milroe is perhaps the most overrated player in college football.
Bad hire. Bad coaching. Bad team performance.
Whomst.
No. Defense
What’s wrong with Bama… ole little Nicky’s checkbook ain’t involved now
Why does he have to talk so smug
Saban’s first natty winning team had a one point win over 7-6 Tennessee and needed not one but two blocked fgs. Looked pretty terrible that day
thank you. people think Bama just mowed down every opponent during their championship seasons. they have issues they need to address no doubt but they do seem to have a knack for stepping up in do or die situations in the aftermath of devastating self-inflicted mistakes. that’s often a sign of a championship-caliber team - finding ways to win even at your worst and even when every bounce seems to go against you, is what separates the good teams from the great ones. they have the highest ceiling of any team in college football, and only time will tell if they properly utilize their potential. but it should come as no surprise to anyone if they do figure it out in the coming weeks and end up running the table for another title. 🤷♂️
Saban had to built the program from the groundup... deboer inherited all of sabans dude. Not even close to the same thing
People also seem to forget Mark Ingram having to run the wildcat every play of the final TD drive to put a mediocre SC away that year too
