    A fine illustration of the seemingly endless paradox wherein a plurality of the greatest minds and their reformatory and remedial ideas are too far removed from real power to affect proceedings for the greater good. The crisis of intellectual capital bites even harder as many promising people become corrupted beyond recognition once in power. Progress continues to be excruciatingly slow.

    • @abdiadam
      @abdiadam 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Politics isn't about intellect rather emotions. That's why intellectual never have capacity to arose masses because they function on reality of casual relations.

    The problem about those in government is that they take that as a high time or a direct ticket to access the fattest parts of this nation. We are also co-authors of our own problems whereby we all struggle to produce one of our own into the diaspora infact it's so bad of us. During the rehearsals we haven't seen any great dancer 😂😂😂😂... Hard truth.

    "Vision, maturity of the populace, discipline, dignity and mutual respect..." Character determines who will be what they say they are. CHARACTER, NOT WORDS. Let's look at these people deeply...but is the population mature enough to be entrusted with defining choices? A people that can blindly put a Sonko into leadership?

    What these two brilliant men are saying is extremely obvious yet they need to re-iterate it over and over which is sad and a poor reflection of the Kenyan society at large. It is obvious that when you have politicians in power who do not serve the needs of the people and rather profit themselves, that the people should not vote them back into office and instead vote for better leaders who will have their best interests at heart. It's not rocket science, but somehow the majority of the Kenyan public do not seem to see this simple fact. It saddens me to see that Ruto is currently the front runner for the upcoming 2022 elections, despite all of the scandals and the massive debt that his government has put Kenya in, in the name of "development". Meanwhile his net worth has increased exponentially during his past 10 years as vice president. Kenyans let's wake up please, at this current trajectory we are looking at certain doom. We can't do the same thing over and over and except different results, that's insanity.

    I really respect people who speak their mind without involving too much jargon and similes. Using such language only reduces the number of people who actually understand what you are saying. As Albert Einstein stated "If you cannot explain it to a six year old, then you don't understand it yourself."
