Two pumps were used because of the varying gas flow rates between the winter and summer. In the summer months, the required glycol flow rate is below the minimum stall point of the larger pump. Our energy exchange pumps' glycol output or speed can be adjusted with their needle valves. VFD’s (variable frequency drives) are used to control the speed electric glycol pump.

Do they used activated carbon at the filter?
Yes, activated carbon is used in the carbon filter.
