Also the best part of this series is that how unapologetic it is about sexuality.

And yet they still had strong sense of family and duty to produce heirs. Even though King James and George are supposedly in love of each other, but they still had their respective families and produced heirs. They weren't exclusively pursuing their sexuality. King James and Queen Anne had seven children with only three surviving into adulthood and George had four children with all of them surviving into adulthood and with descendants living today. The former UK Prime Minister David Cameron is actually a descendant of George Villier.
