Absolutely beautiful and smashingly uplifting! The most significant work since Ravel and Prokofiev. I was lucky to be at the premier of the ‘Three, Four AND…’ yesterday at the Proms and it absolutely made my day and surely did the same for everyone in the audience. I hope it will get uploaded here as I can’t wait to hear and see (!) it again as it is quite a spectacle.
my first time listening to your music - honest first gut reactions: i like it more than anything i've heard by John Adams - the music has a spontaneous organic flow to it that reminds me why i love Delius so much - the orchestration is sublime - and i can hardly believe i am starting to feel some faith again in new classical music
If not a coalescence, then at least a kindred spirit of the beautiful British tradition with masters like Vaughan Williams and Frederick Delius. There are larks and butterflies flying even in this differently arranged garden with proud knightly castles soaring.. 🐦🌻🦋🌳🌺☀🏰

My immediate gut reaction as well, started thinking of Harmonielehre etc., but as I listened further it did seem more spontaneous and flowing.
