i personally think janemba should have been the main antagonist of the buu saga, buu is way to much like cell way to soon, a regenerating, mf who also changes his phase by absorbing people. he is also said to be pure evil, but janemba is quite literally pure evil, so the whole babidi thing would still work. I slept half the time through the majin buu saga when buu was on screen because i knew half of what was coming, i think delving into the dimensional like and other powers he has shown along with an extended interaction between otherworld and the living world would have made for a much much much more interesting arc, plus we get more pikkon screen time, and maybe grandpa gohan gets to meet his great grandkids in this time.
