You are so beautiful and your eyes are amazing, but I must ask you why do you wear so much black? Pastels would complement you complexion perfectly. You are also glowing with your pregnancy.
Umm... Is not this day of celebration a day of idolatry? The reasons you gave for why this day is celebrated where all about a man and not about the things of YAH. This man was obviously not the Messiah that will come to save the world. This man is dead, buried in the ground, and awaiting the day of judgement just like all the other dead. If I remember correctly, there is a command about not celebrating the dead.
Hope that you enjoyed our Lag BaOmer celebration and information! Have a fantastic week and I’ll see you Thursday for Shabbat salad recipes!!!!

@@janeg7057 it’s all good! I spent most of last week thinking it was this week 🤣
Could you do a video and explain the difference between the Torah, the Talmud, and the Kabala? Also, what age do the boys start wearing a kippah?
Hi Gloria! I talk about the kippah and our traditions around boys wearing one in this video: th-cam.com/video/dLRJA10Slvg/w-d-xo.html enjoy!
👋 Hi, what work books are those. I love that you put in blocks for learning. Praying for your healthy swift delivery. 🙏
Thank you for your kind words! What boots are you talking about? I am usually barefoot :) My kids wear their rainbows often though because they enjoy them :)
@@jaroffireflies lol , no your school work books. Did you get them on Amazon?
@@lisandrabracero7301 oh 🤣 I guess I read that wrong!!! Lol The math books you saw were from a curriculum company called The Good and the Beautiful:) We have really enjoyed their math curriculum and plan to keep with them next year as well.
@@jaroffireflies Thank you! 😊 I'm always looking for something new. I try to keep it fresh and happy.
@@lisandrabracero7301 there are samples on their website you can look at. It’s a great curriculum for math!
Very interesting holiday!! Looks like y’all had a great time! The children were so cute trying out the bow and arrow!! It’s harder than it looks!! 😂 Also, not to be nit picky, but on this video, your words and lip movement were off. Like the voice was behind your mouth moving. Maybe it was my phone??? But, your content is great, nonetheless!! 🥰
Thanks for your kind words Karen! Not sure about the sync being off, I’m not seeing that issue on my end.
🥰🥰🥰
Hi Chana, we spent the day walking the streets of New Orleans. It is a very interesting city, especially being from a small town in Washington. I've never seen so much bare female flesh. Lag BaOmer was fun and we enjoyed good food.

Hi Channah🙋♀️. That was tooo short🥺. Not one recipe!! But enjoyed it..
Hi there! I am more of a vlog channel and definitely not a cooking channel :) I do have a few recipes which I have gathered all in a cooking playlist (let me know if you'd like the link!). Stay tuned for Thursday because I have a rare cooking video with my husband coming up where we share some of our favorite Shabbat salad recipes :)

Oooo did get a new microphone?
Hi Kim! No, I don’t have a microphone, I just use my phone for everything :)
@@jaroffireflies that’s what I thought. But the beginning part of the video - it sounds different … as If you were using an additional mic. All good tho.

Chana, I figured out why your son loves those sardines. This must be because they are product of Morocco!

Thanks for sharing your culture 💖
A question about your homeschool curriculum, is it a "regular" one or some kind of a religious one? Just curious 🙏🏻💖
Thank you for watching! We use a combination of resources for our homeschooling. Some of our curriculums choices are secular, while some are religious (which I have to editor my family if its not Jewish, but that's ok), and we have Jewish resources of course as well. We don't use one boxed curriculum or anything like that. I have a homeschool playlist with curriculum pick videos for each year if you are interested in seeing more specifically what we use. Please let me know if you would like me to pull you any links!
Hi! Yes do you have any links for that would love to see ! Ty Chana!
@@elanahatanian3282 sure! Here’s my homeschool playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLqxZU_RTv3pvPu--yWZOCygxii8hjK75A.html I’ll pull my latest curriculum picks and be right back!

In Spain, homeschooling is not allowed 🤷🏻♀️
My family did not celebrate this because it dealt with Jewish mysticism. They believed that common people should not become involved with Kabbalah
You are so beautiful and your eyes are amazing, but I must ask you why do you wear so much black? Pastels would complement you complexion perfectly. You are also glowing with your pregnancy.
Do all Orthodox Jews believe in the Kabbalah or are there some Orthodox secs that don’t?
I really don't know much about that topic so I would not be the one to ask. Sorry I can't help you there!
Loving and respecting your fellow Jew? Why not loving and respecting your fellow man?
We do love and respect our fellow man.
We are celebrating his life and what he brought into the world. This is not idolatry. Nowhere did I or anyone say that he was the messiah.
