It’s nice seeing all you do with the kids and it must be hard filming around the baby’s schedule. I have two older kids in their 30s and 16 yr old twins. I don’t think I would have managed so well if all four were close in age as your kids are.
I too really enjoy your videos and your sharing your life. I imagine it takes quite some time to think up content and editing it all. I would love to hear about how you decide on what to video and how much work is involved.

I've worked in two Hasidic neighborhoods, and Sukkot was always my favorite time of year. I loved watching the trucks drive by with the sukkahs on the back. When I worked in Manhattan, there were always members of the Chabad out in the street asking if you were Jewish and offering to pray with you if you were (this is how I learned about the lulav & etrog). Since I wasn't, I never could pray with them, and just wished them a blessed day.
Such a sweet video! Honestly reminds me so much of my childhood memories! Cleaning the room, the American girl dolls, meals, etc! I thought I’d tell you that your video helped remind me of my FAVE part of the Jewish holidays…all the little but hugely significant memories and bonding with family & family friends ☺️ and this video definitely reminded me of those feelings!

I had my forth baby a bit ago, and as much as I'm experienced my mother told me right after the labor: now you're gonna have lots of hormones, you'll have days you'll be grumpy and cranky and emotional, it's OK! It really helped me when these days arrived because I expected them. I know the reason so I didn't feel bad about it. I was surprise how helpful it was to hear that even though it's my forth child..

What beautiful gifts you gave your children, I'm sure they are so proud of their gorgeous tea cups & saucers & no doubt itching to have a little tea party 🫖The Sukkos looks lovely, the green dress material looks wonderful as drapes, the paperchains so pretty too. Knowing how much you love the outdoors, its totally understandable feeling frustrated & along with over tiredness, hopefully the grumpy feelings didn't last too long !
I love those tea cups! I also like that you gave yourself a time out. Just taking a couple minutes to regroup can be so helpful when things feel like too much.
The outtakes are hilarious. For a moment I thought -oh no their sukkah is going to fall when I heard the crash. Awaiting part 2 as part 1 was so enjoyable. I often need a time-out myself as I can get very short with the ones I love the most. As always, blessings!

I also loved my time outs with my girls and that was almost 30 year's ago. By the time they were old enough to be left alone in there room. I was a single Mom so the time outs were very important. They loved that I needed the outs also.

I saw that in my Bible reading recently and thought it might be. Also, I zeroed in on that lovely linen tea towel - is that an Australian Blue Wren? I am certain that my Mum has the exact same one in her kitchen drawers, but over the oceans and the hills, in the Snowy Mountains of Australia. I like that your religious tradition has you "unplug" from electronics, etc. Instead of being restricting, the rule must be nice to just relax and focus on important things such as sacred time and time with family and friends.
It’s not a tradition. It’s the Jewish law not to use electricity and other things on the sabbath and holidays. It is written in our code of laws and every Orthodox Jew follows this.
It really is a wonderful time. I love that we have it each week, but this time on the holidays just feels like paradise :) So much family time and friend and enjoying the weather and each other. So special :)

I also loved my time outs with my girls and that was almost 30 year's ago. By the time they were old enough to be left alone in there room. I was a single Mom so the time outs were very important. They loved that I needed the outs also.

I saw that in my Bible reading recently and thought it might be. Also, I zeroed in on that lovely linen tea towel - is that an Australian Blue Wren? I am certain that my Mum has the exact same one in her kitchen drawers, but over the oceans and the hills, in the Snowy Mountains of Australia. I like that your religious tradition has you "unplug" from electronics, etc. Instead of being restricting, the rule must be nice to just relax and focus on important things such as sacred time and time with family and friends.
It’s not a tradition. It’s the Jewish law not to use electricity and other things on the sabbath and holidays. It is written in our code of laws and every Orthodox Jew follows this.
This is so true. I am very supportive of no electronics and more family time and good old fashioned communications !❤❤
It really is a wonderful time. I love that we have it each week, but this time on the holidays just feels like paradise :) So much family time and friend and enjoying the weather and each other. So special :)

Your Sukkah is decorated beautifully! It looks so regal with the green satin fabric. Did I hear some music from “The Office “? Maybe it just sounds similar! I absolutely adore the teacups you got for your kiddos. Your oldest son’s looked like it might have a Greek pattern on the top and your daughters is beautiful….I can tell she thinks so too. ☺️ P.S.
